Lovely, spacious, and classy. The bath room is so big, you can get lost in it. Private braai place, and green lawn, for the kids to play. It is self catering, and have every thing you will need in the kitchen.

Perfect for one night. We had a campsite with adjoining facilities for N$170 for two adults. Scalding hot shower! No restaurant but petrol station is 24 hours. Secure parking with attendant all night.

Its an oasis in the middle of nowhere. The place is nice clean and very friendly staff and its 150 kilos up north from Noordower and Ariamsvlei borders

My daughter and I overnighted in the chalets on the way home from Cape Town on 12 August 2017. We arrived totally exhausted after a grueling 9 hour drive from the Mother City and were immediately helped with a chalet that had comfortable beds, a/c, DSTV, plenty of hot water for a welcome shower, microwave to heat up the bean bag for the aching spine and takeaways, and a well-equipped kitchenette. I would highly recommend Grunau Chalets as a stopover between anywhere in Namibia and South Africa, be it Jozi or Cape Town. They are well maintained and priced not to bankrupt your wallet!!
