Great food and great portions. Why did the staff look like they do not want to be there? Would also be good to know that you’re going to be charged for the lemons and the tapwater. Service could definitely be better.

One of the best meals in Windhoek especially for seafood. A fascinating Portuguese-Angolan place. Delicious but the dishes were all drowned in sauce as opposed to relying on quality fish. Great variety though. Diverse drink selection as well.

Employees at this hotel are among the nicest and most attentive of any hotel I have stayed at. We utilize this property for business trips and are remembered each time we return and provided with attention and assistance at every turn. The staff is well trained, well dressed and friendly -- they truly represent the best of what Kubata Hotel is about. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a convenient location, reasonable rates, and phenomenal service.

Dont like the idea that electricity in the rooms is rationed and also the fact there is no direct access to the restaurant from the rooms, you have to into the street and then into the restaurant to have your breakfast, not cool.
The restaurant and conference facilities are quite good though.
