VIP grand Maputo, a nice place to be - so far on day uno. Day two -awesome fish conjugated with some traditional cassava leaves dish. Rooms are nice and clean although the linen is a little disappointing considering the $ rate of the hotel.

staff are sweet and kind but Hotel is dated. WiFi patchy and food is atrocious.and the elevator a death trap.oh and I mentioned the atrocious food.

Terrible hotel that I would not recommend to anyone. Staff have no conception of service at all. The quality of the food is poor. Bathroom is old and in need of repair. Airconditioners in the befroom does not work. Everytime you order room service there is a high charge plus a long wait. Sometimes they even forget to deliver your food.

Bad experience, food wasn't great and kept calling room service for everything. The TV randomly stops working, called three times to fix the toilet. Unwillingness to help and they never had ice or an utensils. The language barrier immediately gives them attitude towards guests.
