Nice simple restaurant but
I had lunch there recently, on a Sunday afternoon. Setting is an open covered space. Comfortable, except in very hot weather. Service is reasonable - Quick and gentle. Food fare, from the list is traditional Portuguese, although with a subspecialty in Strogonoff - squid, shrimp, beef and chicken. I tried the squid strogonoff and it was nice.
It's good for simple Portuguese basic types of dishes. Not the very specialized ones.
Nice reception. A small problem Because it's an open space (sort of) people smoke there and it is a bit inconvenient if one, as me, doesn't like the smell.response / report this review -

Monday 27 March 2017. After checking out I asked to store my bags at reception for some time as I needed to tend to some business in town before traveling onward. Upon coming back I had to wait for the taxi to arrive and asked to use the bathroom. This was refused as I had already checked out and the restaurant was closed. There was just no way. I was ultimately forced to go to a nearby shopping as I was in dire need! All of this happened after I had stayed there for a whole week and taken several meals in their restaurant. It wasn't as if I was some stranger walking in off the street. It was very unpleasant, humiliating and an absolute low point in my experience with hotel industry in Mozambique.
