Hotel Terminus is located in an accessible and safe neighbor hood and within walking distance to a few super mercado, restaurants and churches. It is also close to FEIMA, a place to buy souvenirs. Next to the hotel is Vila Algarve, a Portuguese building in ruins. The hotel is modest in many things. The rooms provide standard amenities including a water heather. A liter of water, tea and coffee packets are provided daily. There is a smoking area in the floor above the reception. The levels are quite confusing because the rooms numbered in the 400 series are in the lower level than the 200 series rooms. There is decent gym, a pool and a bar with live music every night. The resto is small but there are tables and chairs outdoors that could be used as well. There is also a small prayer room for Muslims and a couple of display glass display for souvenir items for sale. Staff are ok but not going out of their way to delight their clients.

The staff were excellent. However, the rooms were too small, the toilet requires a skill to get to it, when you take a shower, the water reaches half way to your knees because of poor drainage. The location is not better. Value for money absolutely terrible

Awesome staff and great breakfast but they closed early at the kitchen so no midnight snack here. Not everyone speaks English but most do.

Our team of eight stayed one night here as we transitioned from Massinger to Johannesburg. The reception area and pool are very nice. The bathroom in our rooms were in need of updating to keep with the rest of the hotel. The free breakfast that was included with our room was quite nice, but we didn’t find out until later that we could have asked for a custom made omelet. That would have been very nice to know in advance. Most hotels of the quality offer a free lemon beverage or water upon arrival, however this was not available during our stay here. The accommodations are less than a comparable hotel like City Lodge at Johannesburg airport, but nice for the area.
