  The ruins are very underwhelming, but you don't visit for that: you visit for the fresco in the back, which is stunning. I thought it was the best preserved art on the peninsula, better even than anything at Palenque, which I also thought was spectacular. All in all this little detour took less than two hours and was worth every minute. Bonus: saw our first wild agouti!

  Es más pequeña que otras zonas pero tiene mucho encanto y los friscos y ídolos son increíbles. No hay iguales en Uxmal o Calakmul. No duden en contratar a uno de los niños guía, trabajan a base de propinas pero saben mucho del tema. Pregunten por Valentín

  Un lugar hermoso donde se puede apreciar el arte maya con su friso q se encuentra ala vista del público y la belleza de sus ruinas q son impresionantes y de gran aporte al turismo

  Después de visitar Calakmul, todavía tuvismo energía para conocer Balamku. Es un lugar muy hermoso, no tan grande pero las estructuras y el friso de los 4 reyes vale la pena visitarlo. Hay niños que se ofrecen como guías, no los subestimes, realmente saben muchas cosas acerca del lugar e incluso te describen los significados de las representaciones en el Friso, el tipo de arquitectura empleada en cada estructura, entre mucha más información. Sin duda es un lugar hermoso y digno de visitarse, sólo ten en cuenta que cierran relativamente temprano (desde las 4pm).

  Una magnífica zona arqueológica culta entre la selva de Campeche, un lugar interesante aunque poco cuidado. Al adentrarte a la zona podrás ver monos araña y monos aulladores. Vale la pena conocerlo 🙌🏽🇲🇽
