Came in to see a Doctor to fill out a flight clearance for our travel insurance.

We went to another hospital (Amerimed) and the other hospital wanted to charge us MXN$2300 for a consultation so we went to Victoria Medical Cancun instead.

The consultation was only MXN$450, the staff spoke English and the doctors were all professional and very understanding.

I've been to this clinic a few times and both times I was treated very fast. I don't speak Spanish so it was very nice to have English speaking doctors and nurse. The staff was very friendly as well.

Doctors here saved our daughter Lauren's life ! Never did get to say thank you ! Don't know all the doctors names , but they were all very professional and so were the nurses . Even the security guard was nice ! We didn't speak Spanish and not many spoke English but they gave us results of our daughter's condition very quickly , which probably saved her life . Again thank you !

By far one of the worst hospitals ever!!! As tourist we were looked at as if we had lots of money. We were on a trip to cancun from California, and on our 2nd day of our trip my 2 year old son fractured his leg in the bath tub in the hotel. So we immediately seeked medical attention via hotel casa maya. They were very helpful and even called an ambulance and we were immediately rushed to Victoria medical cancun, because according to them they accept foreign medical insurance. The problem was my son has medi-cal. It was not accepted. That's when my world started to collide before me. First off before even seeing my baby, they requested a $5000 deposit. I managed to give them a $1000 deposit. So they began to give my baby medical attention. They are unsanitary, they put my baby an iv with no gloves on, they had blood on their hands and inserted the iv. Then they xrayed him and confirmed a broken femur. They suggested surgery, I denied. They eventually just casted him so I could fly back to California . Anyways then the ambulance guys were on my tail talking about "hey ummm your bill is going to be $1000 but it's cool just give us $400". I was going insane. Finally after my baby was casted and they sent us on our way. My total was $895 just for casting him $400 for the ambulance and no proper receipt. I don't recommend this place to anyone. Because of their unproper billing ethics as if we are from another planet. They were very hungry.

Never Never Never Ever go to this hospital. Over priced. Hold you against your will. Try to keep you medicated to make your stay longer.

Beware dealing with Hospital Victoria. Insurance companies view their costs as unreasonable and they will use aggressive tactics to come after the patient or their family for any payments which insurance companies aren't willing to cover. In my opinion there are much better equipped and more reasonably priced hospitals in Cancun such as Hospiten or Hospital Galena.
