Being here for several times now, I can say that this place has very clean and well equipped accommodation. Even the shared bathrooms are separated in a way that everybody has its own bathroom while taking a shower. What definitely needs improvement is the breakfast. It's basically just toast with butter and jam added by a banana.
It's a decent place, but boring as hell. Great beds, bit everything else is mediocre at best.
Meet some very weird and wacky people here which is fun and certainly different haha, all very nice and from all over the world. Only thing is you can certainly get it for cheaper than what it says on the board when you come in depending on who you know and what website you use to book. Tours available from the front desk are the cheapest we found when going out with people from other hotels and hostels always saying they'd paid more. Sadly go-to.language is English not Spanish
Super awesome place, especially for motorbikers who can get a free night there (the owner is a rider).
The hostel has a jungley feel to it. We stayed in the private rooms, which is basically in the roof of the timber structure. Pretty crazy room. There is a pool table and fire place to hang around and two terraces to chill out. The is also an indoor chillout area with a tv and hammocks.
Nice atmosphere, breakfast could be a little more substantial. Bike tourist deal is appreciated. But having a slightly more secure bike parking would be great. The kitchen is nice, lots of room to cook. They sell water at $3P per Lots of friendly dogs on the property, so if you don't like dogs maybe not the best place but I'm happy to get some canine time in.
This is a great place to stay on a budget, we were able to get private rooms for the price we paid.
The room was nice and the atmosphere was very friendly.
The hot water was a little temperamental (warm at best) and the breakfast was toast and jam.
But those are the only two faults with this place.
Great social vibe and good location. The bathrooms are slightly inconvenient but it's not that big of a deal to walk across the yard to get to them. The other inconvenience was that the room I was in did not have outlets except in the mini lockers. They also take credit cards.
Fantastic little hostel with heaps of chill spaces, nice courtyards, a fire pit, kitchen, clean toilets and helpful staff. A short walk to all the action, it's a great place to stay in San Cristobal
Great spot and very friendly hosts! A backpacker hostel with simple rooms with and without private bathrooms. Perfect for motorcycle travelers with parking in the courtyard. They even had a 50% discount for the first night for bikers! Great place to meet fellow travelers too! And cute dogs. Highly recommended!
