last two visits here were sub par, won't stay here again. Unfriendly staff, outdated rooms, over priced. Good location though.

If I could give no stars I would!

By far the most horrible ''hotel'' I have ever stepped foot inwish I could run but ended up suffering trough my 3 night nightmare - just because there was no other hotels avail.

Our hotel room was dirty and we didn’t have water at night. I went to tell the worker, he came in to check and he said he’d fix it. We waited till 12am still didn’t get a response and there was nobody at the front desk, so we went to sleep without taking shower. Very unpleasant.

Wonderful room for the price. Will be staying here again next time. Offers conversion, one towel rental per person, daily maid service, wonderful view of the ocean.

Spend 4 day here and loved it. Very friendly desk staff. Very clean and functional rooms. Hot shower and cold A/C at all times. Had a problems with the room the first night and was moved to a different room within 15 minutes. The view of the Ocean was awesome from my room. I would recommend a 2nd floor room as the walking does get some visitors during the day. One day a family had a picnic on the trail. I would like to try somewhere else next time -- but I will probably go right back here because you can't beat the value and service.

The view from the room was gorgeous! My husband picked this place for our honeymoon and I'm so glad he did. This place is walking distance from a great grocery store and a strip of restaurants and shops. Not too far of a walk from the beach. There is also local transit close by. Very helpful staff. The only downside was the hot water in the shower took about five minutes to heat up. Otherwise everything was great!

This is where we stayed during our vacation on the island. It is a very basic, but nice hotel. Nothing fancy but the view from our room was great and it was fairly comfortable. The fact that it was within walking distance to the main market was a big plus too.

Our room is perfect after 7 days of an all inclusive wedding this is exactly what we needed. Highly recommend the view and sound of the ocean to take away all the stress life gives you

Basic rooms with a friendly staff. The ocean views are stunning here, and the hotel grounds are well maintained. This location is ideal for a day trip from Cancun, or a desired stay close to the many amenities the island has to offer.

We loved staying at Rocamar! We usually rent a house when on Isla but this time we thought we would try the hotel since our stay was going to be shorter this time and we were not disappointed. The room was basic but very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. We loved the location. Close enough to Centro that I could walk and get my taco fix from my favorite street vendor. :) We loved it so much that we are booking it again when we return at the end of this year for a much longer stay. We would highly recommend Rocamar to anyone coming to Isla.

This is a pretty basic hotel, but is clean and very well situated. It is a short walk up from the ferry terminal and easy walking distance to many nice restaurants and also North beach. Our room was right on the harbour wall. If you like to hear the waves roll in, this is for you. We had to close the door it was so loud. Nice little lounge area and decent free wifi. You could easily spend money elsewhere and do far worse.
