Friendly service but the rooms look like they need to be remodeled wasnt very clean and the sheets had a funny smell .. the view was very nice.

Average hotel, rooms missing room service / hotel info and staff don't speak English so it's hard to communicate any issues. No restaurants within walking distance.

Good location near where we went to visit family. Room was nice, but shower could've been better and ironing board wasn't too good. Service was good, overall I'd return and recommend anyone to stay.

Very nice stay, clean sheets, clean towels, asked for extras. No problems! Staff was helpful in every way possible. Thanks for a great place to get some peaceful rest.

I have been calling for 2 hours to reserve a room and one time they answered, put me on hold, and never returned, the rest of the time they just do not answer their phone. Very annoying, I'm calling Lucerna, they answer their phones.

The hotel quality is not 3.5-4 starts at all. The lobby looks great and the outside of the hotel but the rooms are really outdated specially the bathrooms. Rooms look great on pictures but the carpets are dirty, windows are not appropriated for the higher floors they are thin glass. The bathrooms are from the 80s. Hallways smelled like marijuana. We asked to be moved to a different room since we were spending 2 nights there, they told us they would move us in a couple of hours and it never happened. The room was not cleaned and the beds are way too hard. Definitely I DO NOT recommend this hotel. Plus laundry service lady was knocking on the doors at 7:30 in the morning.

El hotel está en una zona muy práctica, está cerca un centro comercial y una zona de restaurantes. Las habitaciones son cómodas las camas muy buenas para descansar solo le falta un poco de iluminación. Cuenta con su gym que tienen caminadora, escaladora y mancuernas para las distintas rutinas. También tienen piscina no muy profunda de apenas 1.20 metros pero lo bastante grande para practicar nado para los que apenas empiezan. En general me ha gustado la estadía en el hotel, muy buen servicio por parte de su personal.

Room service starts knocking on your door @ 8 and won't stop even after you told them you don't want room service. Knocking didn't end till I left. Woke me up all morning

It was very nice compared to what it used to be the crowne plaza. Very nice and much better. The only problem was the a/c I don't why it was just not cooling down. Other than that it's a really good place to stay and real cheap too 👍🏼

Such an amazing place to stay. Staff is so helpful and kind. So affordable. Enjoyed my stay at the Real Inn.. I definitely will stay there again..

Nice hotel, much better than I expected. Rooms were clean and had a great view from the 4th floor. Beds were very comfortable and the gym and pool were well maintained.
My only complaint knocking this down to 4 stars was the front desk workers. They were very slow and always found themselves on the phone whenever I came by for a request. The bellhop took way better care of us in those moments and truly deserved the large tip I gave him.response / report this review -

I had stayed here before and it was fine but this past weekend was horrible. First we get there and they tell me the total which is more than what I was offered online ($118). She explains it's due to the currency. It shouldn't matter since I booked my room and selected the option to pay at that moment. I noticed they hadn't charged my account, not my fault, I even had the email to prove it. They ended up charging me $7 more, whatever. Our bags ended up in the wrong room which it was a mistake by the bell man (he was the nicest person there). We walked with him and didn't noticed the room # either so that wasn't much of a big deal, mistakes happen. Trying to get our stuff back was a pain! I had to call the girl in reception twice and the second time she goes "so what happened again? What room are you in? I think someone was going to help you". Second night there were some teenagers partying in the 2 rooms next to us, I could only hear them when they were in the hallway screaming. Later on our room started to smell like cigarettes. I hate smoking and my toddler was asleep too. I called reception and I don't know if someone ever showed up. I ended up having to spray perfume and open the hallway door to get the smell out. Horrible weekend at the hotel. You should definitely stay at the Araiza or Lucerna Hotel, now those are nice hotels with great customer service. I dont know if you can see it well in the picture, but that was part of the trash left from our "neighbors" night of partying, they still had banda playing in the morning when we left the hotel!

This Hotel makes me feel at home.excellent location and the staff is wonderful.They give you best service and are always helpful.Rates are very reasonable.Though i have choice of staying in other places but i always stay at this property

Nicest place I've stayed in Mexicali. Hada few minor complaints (room service was non-existent one night despite being 24 hours, walls had fingerprints all over them). Otherwise very nice

Real Inn is a well located hotel near Mexicali downtown. It's one of the best hotels around which has a little of everything.
The restaurant has a delicious and inexpensive buffet, there's room service 24/7 and it's located near supermarkets, movie theater, the nicest restaurants and taco stands and the Mexico - USA port of entry.response / report this review
