Loved it! Very close to El Jardin and downtown San Miguel
Unfortunately some of the guests don't respect other guests. Like partying out side your room when there is a great garden they can utilize for gatherings. I f7nd it best to avoid the weekends.
The restaurant yas been spruce up nicely but the menue never changes over theyears. Howe about a wekly feature of a different dish.
The pool is not maintained. Many days there is algey, dead bugs and other filth floating on top. The pool is not heated. One positive they have new cushins on the recliners
Still has great garden, location, staff and prices.
Nice quiet place the service is good & the food have a reasonable portion, the decoration is good.
We did not stay at the hotel, we just went to the restaurant for launch. Everything looked homemade and good. Really inexpensive for the amount of food yo are served. Service is a bit slow, but hey, this is Mexico ok? Sit down and relax. Enjoyed the place for local and non fancy food.
I've stayed there many times before moving here full-time. A great location, nice people, "Best Western" or "La Quinta" style very nice rooms, reasonable rates, the restaurant is very nice, easy walking to the Plaza Principal, and the list goes on. Also, which is rare here, on-the-premises parking for your car.
Great food. A great place to taste traditional food, with a great price.
Not for those seeking ultimate luxury but heaven for those wanting comfort, hospitality, all you could desire or need, nestled near the artist market, close to the xocalo, guests are older, frequent visitors, love the place..
