  Small and beautiful museum, make sure you read or ask for an English translation for free at the entrance. If you just walk through without reading the history there is no point of going.

  Beautiful collection of Jade objects from all periods of history, including some from ancient times. Well presented exhibits and full details in Spanish. An English version is available in a free guide. Huge store has fabulous collection of quality Jade jewelry for sale, as well as pieces with other previous and semi-precious stones. Prices seem reasonable for the quality. 30 peso entry ticket also good for admission at Kawkaw cacao museum around the corner.

  Un museo muy interesante, cuenta con muchas réplicas de Jade y una explicación de donde localizar las piezas originales. Cuenta con una tumba recreada, excelente lugar. Al final puedes pasar a una joyería donde lo esencial sería comprar algo de Jade.

  Es un museo relativamente pequeño, peto tiene piezas impresionantes. Aparte de ser una belleza, el jade tiene características muy particulares, que hacen su manejo muy complicado. Es increíble ver la perfección de las antiguas técnicas mesoamericanas para trabajarlo y convertirlo en cientos de formas.

  a small but elegant museum filled with remarkable pieces of maya and modern jade art. if you like jade this is an excellent choice to visit. many do not know that jade was a special stone for the maya and here one can see many pieces that show the reverence.
