Living in the shadow of Mexico City Airport and it's own burgeoning business aviation sector, Toluca Airport still manages to find a niche for scheduled services to various domestic points within Mexico and is served by four carriers. I chose to fly from Toluca to Monterrey solely to get a flight in the Sukhoi Superjet of Interjet. The terminal is small and spacious with adequate room to grow. There is a 7-11 with inexpensive drink and snack options. It is unpretentious, with no airbridges but ingenious covered walkways. There is a bar for hot food and a shop selling t-shirts and other items. The toilets were immaculate, clean and well appointed. It took us just 1 hour to travel to Toluca from central CDMX and uber costs just 500-600MXD. There are also buses from CDMX.
Viviendo en la sombra del Aeropuerto de la Ciudad de México y su propio sector de aviación de negocios, el Aeropuerto de Toluca aún logra encontrar un nicho para servicios regulares a varios puntos domésticos dentro de México y es servido por cuatro carriers. Elegí volar de Toluca a Monterrey únicamente para conseguir un vuelo en el Superjet Sukhoi de Interjet. La terminal es pequeña y espaciosa, con espacio suficiente para crecer. Hay un 7-11 con bebidas baratas y opciones de aperitivos. Es sin pretensiones, sin pasadizos, pero ingeniosos pasillos cubiertos. Hay un bar para comida caliente y una tienda de venta de camisetas y otros artículos. Los baños estaban impecables, limpias y bien equipadas. Nos tomó sólo 1 hora para viajar a Toluca desde CDMX central y uber cuesta sólo 500-600MXD. También hay autobuses de CDMX.response / report this review -

Deben de poner más atención a su personal q transportan las maletas ya q me sacaron la rasuradora de mi esposo , q venía en su maletín de viaje y es seguro q ahí fue ya q nos hospedamos en el depto de mi hija y ahí no se quedo. Espero q lo tomen en cuenta para q tomen cartas en el asunto con su personal. ,porque q pena con los extranjeros q nos visitan.

Small nice airport with hardly any air traffic when compared with Mexico City. Highly recommend this airport. If you have the chance to fly in or out of this airport please do because Mexico City is a huge mess. You'll save yourself a lot of hassle and stress. You can thank me later.
