Sales people are pushy and not very nice!
Everybody knows Cuban cigars are expensive but at this place your going to pay 2-3 times the going rate not a good experience! The balcony was nice but u can't see the Laguna everything is over grownresponse / report this review -

Good news, they have real Habanos.
Bad news, you’ll pay 3x the going rate for them. When I asked the sales associate why their cigars were so expensive he explained the owner pays 400% sales tax to import them from Cuba. Even non-Cuban (Dominican) sticks are 30-50% more then what they go for in the United States.
Their cigars are great. They have a very nice lounge, but IMO you can only add a certain premium for these things. Ever since Cubans (and other) cigars have become so widely available online I have been able to get some amazing prices on great cigars - and sorta in the back of my mind say “I can buy this online for half this price”. It seems like this place has the market locked down in Cancun because of how many counterfeits are out there. Expect to pay $20-40 for a decent stick.
Next time I come to Cancun I will plan to bring cigars I have back in the states.response / report this review -

At first glance this really seems like it could have been a great place but the fact remains that the cigars are extremely overpriced. Not sure if it's just a greedy merchant or greedy taxation but regular production cigars are two times the cost of Habanos SA suggested retail and limited/rare releases are upwards of three times the normal MSRP.
For instance, normally a behike 52 only costs $32, here it costs $75. The only prices that seemed to be inline with the rest of the world were prices on some of the aged stock. Edmundo Dantes cigars were priced correctly as well as the Montecristo 80th. The regular production Punch 48 were moderately priced. Overall; if you're fine with paying the premiums go ahead and buy from here.
Overall the staff is nice but very pushy. They want you to spend as little time in the humidor and rely on impulse buys. I would have liked to have looked around more because it seemed like they didn't have many panatela format and petite/royal corona vitolas but I simply was not given that option and it really left a soar taste in my mouth.
Had this not been the legitimate LCDH sanctioned by Cuba, I would not have shopped here.response / report this review -

Wayyyy to overpriced employee / manager was unwilling to provide more than a 5% discount when you can pay 60-70% of their retail price down the street at the mall cigar shop. Go there and save $10-$20 per stick.

Great low key place for cigars and drinks. The balcony overlooking the water is cool. David the "mojito man" is super friendly. They also serve hookah.

A must stop for cigar lovers visiting Cancun! Excellent quality and expert knowledge. Arturo, the host is very helpful & David makes the best drinks. Vibe & Smokes are great!

Great place to do in for a drink and a cigar. Mojitos and daiquiris are top notch as is the selection of rums and Cuban cigars. Expect to pay premium prices for the cigars. Free massage chairs are a welcome addition (sure made my wife happier!). Great place to while away a few hours while on vacation!

David, the bartender, is the best! They don't serve food but they had the waiter from the restaurant next door bring us menus and we were able to have food delivered. It was the best experience of our trip! Cigars were the best as well. Great atmosphere! Everyone made us feel welcome.

One of the best parts of my recent visit to cancun. Smoked a Monte #2 while sipping a Titos vodka in a great and comfortable setting. Awesome. A must visit for true cigar smokers.

They did have authentic Cuban cigars. But they are overpriced as hell. You can buy a 10ct box of Montecristo #2 delivered to the USA from Sweden for $100. They wanted $270. I was presented with immaculate info about US customs and the import of these cigars as well.

Davil the bartender is a real treat & engages in conversation like no other. Great ambiance. Fine cigars. Excellent mojitos. Not to mention the two massage chairs that are freely available to patrons which face a beautiful view.

This is a great place to buy real cigars and not the fakes that hotels and beach salesmen have. They had a really friendly bartender that was as laid back as me.
