This place is really a diamond in the rough and should find greener pastures. Starbucks is the only thing keeping this mall alive. Otherwise it is full of boarded up storefronts and the occasional tout selling the same tourist crap you see all over Cancun.

Then out of nowhere is Ambarte. This delightful little oasis of art. They have crafts that blow everyone else away. They are pricey, but considering all the schlock you have to wade through, definitely worth a visit if you are in the neighbourhood.
