Fresh, organic mouth watering combinations.
Best grouper I have ever had on a bed of sautéed spinach, baby carrots and squash. Arugula beet salad with a delightful balsamic dressing.
Great choice of wines and desserts.
Rustic authentic but chic estancia! The drive there is a Mexican experience! Beautiful vegetable farm can be explored at lunch. Call ahead.response / report this review -

Los Tamarindos is one of the most enjoyable dining experiences in San Jose del Cabo. Getting there may be a little challenging as the last 1/2 mile is dirt road in the estuary, but it's worth the trip. The food is largely sourced from the Los Tamarindos organic farm that surrounds the restaurant, and is ultra fresh.

Really enjoyed our time here. They grow hundreds of fruits and vegetables. Had fun making salsa, guacamole, tortillas, margaritas, and mojitos. The food for dinner was delicious.

Had a great time touring this farm and learning about it. It is nicely laid out around mango, guava, and tamarind trees. The staff is friendly and entertaining while teaching you how to make all kinds of local food and drinks. The meal was great and bountiful. The entertainment was great also. We all had a great time.

Colect your own organic ingredients from the farm, cook them with the chef and eat them. Perfect.

I love to cook. I always look for these type of experiences when I travel. Our conciege at Me Cabo found this for us.
Out in the middle of no where! Your taxi driver will say they know where it is. Don't count on it! Have a map!
Beautiful place in the middle of no where. Beautiful, simple restaurant with an outdoor kitchen. It was just the 2 of us with the chef. We picked some of the herbs we needed from the garden just outside the restuarant. We prep'd, cooked, and plated our meal.
Great meal, great atmosphere. I would recommend to anyone who loves to cook or would enjoy an intimate meal prepared together.

I really wanted to love this place just as much as everyone else. I wanted so badly for it to be the perfect romantic dinner for my wife and I. The ambiance was beautiful and rustic. Overlooking a quaint farm with chickens clucking and cows mooing in the background. I ordered the pork shank and my wife ordered the pizza. The pizza was good but nothing to freak out over. The pork was tasty but pricy for what it is. It was supposed to come with baked sweet potato and instead came with one eggplant and some other cooked vegetables, those didn't taste that great, too mushy. The pork shank paid me a gnarly visit in the baño later that night (a few times). I'd give it another try and order something else, but vacation is over and I'm too used to eating out of this world Mexican food at a fraction of the cost.

I love Los Tamarindos. I've been twice. First for a cooking class and most recently for lunch. The food is so fresh and tastes amazing. The owner is also very friendly and makes you feel right at home in his restaurant.

Some excellent dishes made with their own organic produce. Had the best burrata tomato salad I've ever had. Small dishes are fantasticThe larger dishes can be a bit pricy520 pesos for snapper was pushing the cost envelope.

Nice ambiance. The grilled vegetables were outstanding, the pizza just so-so. They have lots of direction signs now and the directions on Google Maps are accurate so we had no problem finding it.

This was our favorite restaurant in Cabo! It is nearly impossible to find even with GPS - you have to drive on unmarked dirt roads and you swear you won't ever find the place - but it's worth the trouble.

All the staff was very attentive specially Alejandro the manager. The place, albeit distant, is very beautiful. Most of the dishes are overtly expensive. The ranch chicken was dry and the caramelized mango dessert wasn't too tasty. The eggplant rolls and the pizza were mediocre. The pig chamorro was good, particularly the tomatillo and Chile sauce that accompanied it. Overall the place is OK, it lends itself for a change of scenery.
