  Excelent location, but terrible rooms. The service whatsoever is pretty good. Decent food and the general facilities are fine. But the internet in the last rooms is really slow

  Beautiful view and the food was delicious. The staff was very accommodating. My great aunt was cold and they provided a blanket for her. The hotel is in itself beautiful and has a perfect view of the beach.

  Beautiful old building and grounds. That's what I love about Mocambo. But, they could at least not charge you for a plastic ice bucket and have ice available. That's all really. Yes, the place is a bit delapedated and moldy. I'm okay with that. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. But really charge you for ice and water!!!! The rooms are very bare minimum, but that is going a bit too far!!! Fortunately,I got a farely inexpensive rate. Had I known how run down and bare minimum this place was I'd be willing to spend an extra 10 or so a night. Oh, and the air conditioner in the rental car works way better than the one in the room!
  
  If you're just staying a night or two it might be tolerable. Our five night visit.well let's just say there will not be a repeated stay at Mocambo.
