Awesome place. Rooftop garden and seating has a great view of the city. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would pick this place to stay everytime.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property is pretty extensive and LOTS of stairs to access some of the rooms. Right near the heart of downtown San Miguel de Allende which is a wonderful artists community.

All the people in here try their best to make it feel like home, delicious food for breakfast, wine with your check in, artisanal candies in the lobby, I'm definitely coming back, we stayed at the Nardo grand suit, beautiful suit, this place is amazing! Thank you so much guys!

Wonderful place to stay in San Miguel. I'm certain the town has a lot of great hotels to offer but we were super happy with our choice here. The staff is A+ and very accommodating. The decor is nice too.

The place is expensive but, it is excellent, I love !! personal is very helpful very clean. There was a very nice person in the morning when I breakfast. Breakfast was delicious the waitress was excellent and he give one book about San Miguel De Allende. Thank you!! The receptionist she WAS NOT very nice but, the hotel is nice. The housekeeper, waitress, are so nice.

El Santuario was one of the outstanding highlights of our 8 night stay in the beautiful city of San Miguel. From the moment we arrived we felt at home and very welcome in this wonderful hotel. It is a character hotel with a warm, restful and inviting atmosphere. It was my first stay anywhere in Mexico and a wonderful change from the standard high-rise American style hotel to a boutique hotel with history and character. The courtyard is an inviting restful area that felt like our own family room to read, mingle with the other happy guests or enjoy an amazing home cooked breakfast. Our hotel room, large warm and beautiful with high ceilings, beautiful furniture and a Mexican character bathroom. Even better than all this was the service. In all our many years of travels, we have never experienced service on this highly personal and excellent level. Abraham treats every client individually and to provide a unique response to their needs. I always felt great after any interaction with Abraham, as did my wife and daughter. The excellent service comes from all of the hotel staff.
We will be back to San Miguel - and there is no other place I would ever stay. I love this place.response / report this review
