La comida es exquisita. La atención inmejorable. El hecho de estar en el centro y poder caminar alrededor es perfecto. Las habitaciones son únicas. Todas diferentes y muy grandes.

Un excelente opción para desayunar. Es tipo buffet los finés de semana. Muy rico, fresco y opciones suficientes. Lo mejor es el ambiente, acompañado de un lugar agradable y música en vivo. Excelente para desayunar en familia.

This is a hotel that stands out in memory; a place that is simply special. The casona is steeped in history, as the apparent home of the famous China Poblana. A statute of her dominates the courtyard; her beauty is unforgettable. The room was large, and well furnished with a 4-post bed. Every detail is charming, from the solid-wood shutters on the window, to the brass registers in the floor, and the impressive wood ceiling and moulding throughout. Little touches, like the bust on the desk, the fresh flowers on the table, and complimentary fresh fruit top off the experience. While the room maintains it's historic state in style, the bathroom is entirely contemporary and modern.

Breakfast was intimate and delicious, and surprisingly included in the room rate. Wi-fi worked well. The hotel is situated only two blocks from the Zocalo.

Service was impeccable; after inquiring about the availability of taxis at 5am to get to the airport, they arranged for one without being asked to. That's 5-star service. I would definitely stay here again. 10/10

An excellent hotel in close proximity to the zocalo. In a heartbeat I would again stay in the room Samarcanda which features a comfortable loft sitting area. The room is well maintained with beautiful high ceilings and hard wood floors.

The hotel courtyard is a relaxing retreat from seasonal afternoon rains and be certain not to miss breakfast. While I generally skip breakfast, the food here was one of the highlights of my trip.
