Amazing hostel!! Gina is so sweet and helpful. cook-it-yourself breakfast is included and is very centrally located. The dorm rooms can get pretty stuffy at night, so make sure you keep the windows open! 10/10 would come back here.

I dont understand why this hostel gets good reviews, the only good thing about it is central location. It's very dirty, there are only two bathrooms (which are super dirty, bins are emptied only once a day, so the smell of urine and poop is horrendous), breakfast is below average, meant to be continental but it wasn't (fruit was either not ripe or off). Staff is nice but they are mainly kids. I think the owner was away that's why the place was so run down, but once she returned on our last day it got a bit better (they bought eggs for breakfast).

¡HORRIBLE,! la dueña del lugar es una persona muy desagradable que te da la bienvenida con gritos como si es servicio fuera gratuito, camas incomodas, con bichos. Mis amigas y yo quedamos muy insatisfechas, 0 recomendable, no nos pudimos salir porque la reservación fue por internet y el pago ya estaba debitado de lo contrario no hubiéramos aguantado el mal carácter de esta persona. Recomendación para la "dueña" aprenda más sobre atención al cliente ya que por más céntrico que este "su hostal" dejará de ser visitado por su falta de ética.

This hostel is absolutely wonderful. The owner is very courteous and goes out of her way to help you. I strongly recommend visiting Hostel del Companero
