Best hostel in downtown D.F. - would come back here without hesitation. Stayed here for about two weeks and had no reason to try anywhere else.
Cheap, comfortable, and very unique atmosphere. Unbelievable location and staff.
The best hostal in México city near the downtown.
Great location. Beautiful environment and service.
Terraza Regina Bring cash, a lot of instability in card transactions. Also not allowed to bring bags
They present theatrical plays in there. Place is really nice and comfortable. They have restaurant and a waiting room where you can have a beer.
There is a night club on the third floor that plays Lund music all night long. The oxxo store across the street blasts music all night as well. The staff are nice but unhelpful. The building is interesting with nice paintings but the young guests are uncivilized and rude. If you are over twenty three look elsewhere.
Place is so folkloric whit many mexican details. The menu has variety of dishes like spaghetti, pizza, burgers, chicken wings, fries and stuff like that. Prices are OK considering the place is very near to the zocalo of Mexico city. On the third floor there's a bar.
Good location, terrible wifi, comfortable private rooms and not so clean bathrooms.
Near the city center, very budget friendly and a basic breakfast is included. The other travellers in the hostel were very open and friendly. The hostel is very pleasing to the eye as well. Love the colors, design elements and clean bathroom!
Nice 'n easy to get there. well located in downtown and inexpensive place to spend an evening with friends.
Super nice place! One of the cheapest hostel of the city and a good atmosphere for backpackers. Be careful there are a lot of parties on the roof on week-end so it's super noisy if you want to sleep before 2:30 am
Beds are OK, WiFi and internet were mostly working. Floors and rooms were clean. There are stairs everywhere even in the rooms (not for disabled). There are crannies under each door (there are no windows but doors) so you hear noise from inside and outside the building 24/7. Street life ends after midnight so you don't have much time to sleep. There is one room shared by approx. 30 people which has one door with lock and one grid door without a lock so you here everything from the corridors were people sit and talk and anybody can get in the room. Also there are no locks on lockers so anybody (even from street) can get to your stuff you leave there. Toilets and showers are clean but there is no much privacy in there. Breakfast is a toast with some butter and sweet marmalade (every day). You can make a tea or take a coffee. All in all the hostel looks good but it's not good for sleeping.
Good people, my stuff felt safe, I left twice and it was still on the bed. Locks are 20 pesos. The stay itself is 190 pesos and you share a large room with 12 people. No soap for showers. Bathrooms bit dirty. They say there's breakfast but it's more like coffee/tea and bred with butter and jelly. They charge 10 pesos for a small piece of soap but I strongly recommend they should just have some in there. Place is awesome outside the rooms, good vibe overall.
