I had dinner with my family while vacationing in Cancun, and this was probably our best dinner of the trip. The food was delicious, but we were really pleased with the service. The waiter was very attentive and checked in often.
If you like authentic Mexican food you must try this place! Order the guacamole to start, they prepare it table side. For dinner, I had the chicken fajitas which were delicious, and the tres leches cake for dessert was amazing!
Amazing service from Ismael and Obed. Ismael did an amazing fire show with coffee that was more entertaining than most of the shows I’ve seen around here. The food is exactly what you’d expect, authentic enough to be delicious and satisfying, but Americanized enough that I’m not scared of ending up on the toilet tonight.
It’s a fun chill place to go if you’re in the hotel zone and looking for something quick and easy.
Hacienda Sisal is one of our favorite restaurants in Cancun. The food is excellent, the service (our server was Carlos) friendly and attentive. The lobster and shrimp enchiladas are one of their specialities (don't miss them!) and the flan was some of the best I've had. The prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of the food.
Great location right next to our resort. Very pretty decor inside and outside. The menu had a lot of good options to choose from. We had a vegetarian at our table and he had no problem finding something. The table side guacamole is a must! We ended up ordering two servings of it. At the recommendation of our waiter, I got the chicken tampico and would definitely get it again. Everyone else at my table also enjoyed their meals. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the food here.
Food was ok. Not a lot of flavour. Staff was friendly. A bit overpriced.
Very good food and service. A variety of traditional Yucatanian foods that are delicious! The servers and friendly, knowledgeable about their offerings, and enhance the dining experience. One of the dining rooms has a large cabinet displaying various brands of Tequila.
Mexican brunch on Sundays is ok. Could be better if it had a larger selection. Also, they don't take reservations on Sunday which can be difficult for mid to large groups.
Good place to start your morning unfortunately the coffee always tastes like cinnamon. Make sure you ask for real sugar to add to your coffee. Don't order cheese with your eggs and because the cheese is probably rotten.
Best Sunday brunch! Cancun's must! Amazing staff, beautiful Hacienda style place.
The best meal i had in Cancun. Went there for lunch and had a blast. Service is not intrusive. Superb food.
Restaurant building and decor beautiful, friendly staff, but the food left me some what underwhelmed, still looking for a genuine taste of Mexico I'm the hotel zone of Cancun.
As a guest of Royal Resorts, the concierge recommended this place for dinner. I wanted to try something 'authentic' as opposed to the typical Mexican food served in the States. That said, I went with the Mole oaxaqueño and yes, it certainly delivered. Very reasonable prices, especially for the quality of food and dining experience. One way I gauge a restaurant's caliber is by attentiveness: if THEY pack your remaining food for you To-Go, then it's quality. Otherwise, it's just a regular restaurant (in my opinion.) As for dessert, it's brought out on a cart for you to choose from, not just some menu description.
Great Ambiance, Great Service, Just OK Food.
Mariachi Band was excellent, though a little loud. wait staff was excellent. Guacamole made right at the table was brilliant. Portions were smaller than which is a good thing as who can eat a burrito from a Mexican restaurant in the US? Food was rather bland though. Desserts were great. Margarita was excellent - the large is super-large. I would likely return to this restaurant for another try.
Great food and service, folkloric entertainment
One of the more unique restaurants in the Hotel Zone. Their authentic Mexican brunch is a must try!
Excellent restaurant, great food, perfect Margaritas and perfect service and also the Banana Flambe from Alfredo.
On a side-note, their water from the jug smells and taste of satiniser. Make sure to order bottled water.
A terrific place for a nice night out. Whether you want classic Mexican cuisine or traditional Yucatan dishes, the food is terrific. Desert can be quite a show depending on what you order, and the floor show is fantastic.
Nice decor, with plenty of room between tables. Good food at a reasonable price.
