Visited numerous times, stopped going two years ago because of travel club staff. Decided to try again for my son's birthday. I'll start with the good amazing people working at hotel can't do enough for you, amazing job keeping the beach clean, hotel impeccable,a different themed alcohol nite all week tons of fun with activities during the afternoon I can't say enough about hotel staff. The bad FOOD guys what happened for years myself and everyone we brought there was amazed by your buffet, really sushi and Asian food every nite restaurants adults only last I read was a family resort. Numerous people aren't going back because all your doing is catering to your new adult section, hello did someone loose track of reality children are a big part of this world. Shame on you for forgetting what made the Palladium a special place. As for the travel club staff, oh boy i wanted to ask the person in charge of my membership a question i was told write it on a piece of paper and if he thinks it's important he'll come out and talk to you. The lady sitting next to me almost fell off her chair. Iam an original 50 member and I'll say you really should educate the people working for you in manners. Better yet higher some of the hotel staff they actually know what it means to be appreciative of having the opportunity to work.

After spending over a week at what was supposed to be a 5 star resort (Grand Serenis) which at best was 3 star at a massive push, the Grand palladium is a breath of fresh air.
The staff are friendly, the food is excellent (I cannot fault anything) and the grounds are beautiful.
It took over 2 hours to check out of the Grand Sirenis, it took less than half an hour to check into the Grand Palladium. Nothing is too much trouble..
I would rate this place on par with resorts such as the Anantara desert resort in Abu Dhabi, all they need is a Pool butler and it would be even better.
This place is reminiscent of resorts in the Maldives or Asia where service is paramount and the customer is king.
If you plan to come to Riviera Maya, look no further than the Palladium, I cannot imagine there are any other resorts that come close.response / report this review -

So much to see, to do, experience and eat. We loved it. Never a dull moment. Beautiful property and very friendly and accommodating staff. I even got to take relaxing baths in the jacuzzi tub in our room. Loved our stay

We have been to several all inclusive resorts. Our entire family says this one is the best so far. The rooms are large. The beach sand is beautiful. The staff are friendly. The pools are beautiful albeit a little cooler than expected. I would highly recommend this place.

Great stay clean room. Love this place. Very nice here. If had another chance next time I would come here. Beach is great, some rocky spots but got to go walk on beach and you will see lots of room with no rocks at all on beach or in water. great experience overall. Restaurants are great, my favorite is the Brazilian restaurant . And menu is great. And I preferred to alway eat my breakfast in the buffet.

This place is fantastic. Everything is super clean and immaculately maintained. Staff is courteous and efficient. Food options are plentiful but the food quality is average. I am very happy with my decision to stay here and would return for another visit

This is a fantastic place to experience a Blue sea with white sand without being hassled by merchants. The pools are fantastic well kept and the staff are friendly and easy going. The food is top notch, providing a variety of food and drinks from several buffets and restaurants.

The Grand Palladium is absolutely fantastic a tropical paradise! I have stayed here twice now and would come again and again. I cannot fault it and the staff are the most friendliest I have ever come across, it's just beautiful. Thankyou Grand Palladium xxx

Great resort in Riviera Maya! Pros: amazing entertainment staff, fun scheduled and pop-up activities, beach and pool are amazing, always a place to party and many places to relax, the jungle setting makes for a neat feel, plenty of English fluency on staff, and it's a great setup for young kids with a staff that gets them involved in events outside of the kids club. It's also clear that the resort is committed to maintenance and improvement. There are some truly genuine and fun personalities on the resort's activities team. Cons: jungle setting means bring bug-spray even though they spray the area, some rooms show a little age, and few food options after 10:30pm. Also, the dive shop staff was the one exception to great customer service, surly and unwilling to loan decent snorkeling equipment sitting on the shelves right behind them. Overall, I would definitely return!

The service here is superb. And found the food to be excellent has vast range in buffet and loads of themed restaurants which has a more personal service. The facilities are also excellent and the rooms really comfy and clean.best resort I have stayed in for a while.

This was a great facility. The staff everywhere in the facility we're friendly and very accommodating. We do Ed in almost all of the restaurants and found the food to be good and plentiful. Would definitely consider a return during a cooler time of year.

We stayed here on our honeymoon, they immediately upgraded our room and treated us like royalty. The beaches here are very clean the restaurants are good as well especially for an all inclusive resort. Rooms are spacious and clean. If you can swing it I would definitely recommend upgrading to the royalty room for it's included Butler Service and in-room hot tub. They're very upfront with any additional fees that will be a charged, even mini fridge is stocked everyday and free to use. Thanks for the lovely honeymoon!

This is one of my favorite vacation destinations. The staff is extraordinarily kind and helpful. They are very customer oriented and go out of their way to make my family and I comfortable and happy. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, you get a pillow menu, the bathrooms have bathtubs with water jets, and there's a decent sized balcony. There are several large pools with swimup bars, as well as a couple adult only pools. The beach is amazing with white sand and plenty of beach chairs. If you have kids, they'll love the kids water park and the numerous activities that are available, especially the evening show/concert. The food is decent, but it gets better every year. I recommend this spot to all of my family and friends. You'll love this place!

We love Grand Palladium Colonial Resort and Spa. This is our 3rd visit to this resort. Service has been perfect our room is very spacious and all staff have been wonderful. We will be back again soon.

The resort itself was great. It was difficult to make dinner reservations for the a la carte restaurants. You could only make them one day in advance and the lines at the guest relations counter was always so long. My husband and I had some money stolen from our room, (We forgot to lock the safe). After writing and incident report and having our room searched and photographed they still had no leads. Guest relations were less than helpful. Our room was great, the beach was wonderful. After our negative incident, we will not go back. The area had a plethora of resorts to choose from where you could receive better customer service

We spent a week at the Colonial. We had 14 family members in building 21. We had 5 of the 6 rooms on the first floor. Very nice rooms and close to everything. The Colonial looks big on the map, but as you start walking around it is not bad. First off . The check it was easy and fast or maybe because we had 4 little kids with they did it faster. Rooms were clean and frig was stocked daily. We left a dollar or two daily for house cleaning. They always left some kind of animal made with towels on our beds. Kids loved it. Buffet was OK but it got old after a few days. We went to the White Sands and ate at the Steak Place. It was great and not busy at all. Kids pool was great for the kids. We spent a lot of time there. Drinks were very weak,but with kids around it was OK. We hired a small bus to take us to and from airport with no other stops. Great way to go. I have nothing to say bad about the Colonial other than the food at buffet was the same every day. We are already talking about coming back next year if we can find some good deals.I think if you try this place you will like it if you have kids. The whole place is geared for kids.

The view could be better, but almost everyone gets to look at jungle. Beds are wonderful, best bed I've been in at a hotel. Room service menu is basic. I assume food will be better away from room service. Staff is friendly and accommodating. I wish they would leave at least one outlet open for guests in the room, I will forever pack a power strip when traveling. The lighting switches are less than intuitive in my room. Overall, the room is great looking and comfortable to be in. Now it's time to venture out in the rest of the property.
