A good place for dining in Holbox . The ingredients are indeed fresh , but the no menu policy, is more of a show as the menu is known for the day , This place is not vegetarian/ kids friendly.
Staff was pushy and non accommodating. Try it if you are on the island for few days but not recommended for groups or families

Best food i had in Mexico so far. Finally a chef who actually creates a dish and not only copies the classics.

We chose the lobster and the corvina options (menu is different nightly) - the chef was gracious; I like that he comes to the table. The corvina was good, a nice buttery oregano sauce. The lobster was a bit overcooked.

I am a fried I wasn't impressed about this place and the idea how they like to run it.
First, drinks, in a tropical island I was served a fizzy maracuja drink and not a fresh juice cocktail.
Then the chef comes along (he is not Mexican) European I believe, only 4 options of what he is fancying to cook on that day.
I don't eat meat, vegetarian most of the time, fish only if it's fresh. They only had meat or fish options, no veggie main course offered.
    Ok, fish option it was.
In 5 mins the food arrived.
The food was good but I don't believe it was cooked right at the moment. As it's not possible to cook it is such short amount of time.
The best for last - there are no prices any where as there is not a menu and they don't tell you, so of course it's expensive,
I would not recommend this place.
Sorry so many other places in the island to pic with more food options and at a cheaper price.

Very bad experience, so little food for so expensive price. My food was disgusting lemon/shrimps/portobello mushroom I'm now felling to puck and I'm still so hungry like if I didn't had a meal but 300$ pesos less in my pocket. It's a joke the chef describe my boyfriend plate as seafood including shrimps. none was on it his plate was half as the other guest who also add shrimps on it. When we ask chef he said no this one come with no shrimps before I left I asked guest who had same and they said was a big plate with shrimps also. Lol with told server why other had but not him he said ok chef give discount he take off 70$ pesos on 700$ pesos bill.

Amazing dinner. The chef itself explains you the menu. Cooked with love and creative recipes.

Love it. Cozy experience. Great treatment from staff. Personally created by the Cheff. Shots very expensive. They don't take any credit card, and had to negotiate USD FX.

Delicious and fresh main dishes, however, a bit too popular (crowded) and closes too early. Also a bit pricey, but good quality.

The best restaurant you will find on the island. There is no menu and the Chef will come to each table and present the options. Excellent and very creative recipes. A true gem.

This place doesn't have a menu. Each night there are 4 main course options, with the chef himself coming to your table to describe the options. Lovely touch. The food (I had a steak and my husband the fillet of fish) was delicious. The flavours were outstanding - of the calibre you get at the world's top restaurants. And to top it all, so unpretentious. A real gem.
