This is where I got my PADI certificate from, yes it is not the cheapest dive shop in this area but it is convenient for me since I stayed in Iberostar, the staff are friendly and efficient, I received my certificate while vacationing the resort for a week.

One of outboards broke on one of our trips. A 2-hour dive took 6 hours. Tried to do Universal PADI-SSI certification for my kids and Dressel Divers wouldn't sign off their Universal referral form after saleslady from Spain assured me they would. Spent a huge amount of money to get kids certified and all for nothing.

Yes there are cheaper options for diving out there, but remember this sport had risks and you get what you pay for. These guys are consistently professional, well equipped and personable at all their sites. I had booked with another local dive company and the experience scared me silly. I switched to Dressel and I've tried to use them wherever I go. Book in advance and get at least 20% off too. Highly recommended.

Great dive place. Make sure you book before your trip to save 20% They use dive masters that lead you through each dive. So they don't just tell you a heading and a minimum bar and that's it.

Also the instructors are very friendly polite and patient. You can tell they love their job and diving. We also got our advanced course through them which was awesome, at the time it was only 150 USD. You can rent everything here and their equipment is well maintained.

We dove 7 times, two in a cenote (highly recommended) twice in Cozumel and three times off shore. One if those three is with bull sharks, again highly recommended.
