Fascinating journey of the mural from the hotel to the current location. The mural has a great who's who's explanation in both English and Spanish. Most of the rest of the work is from Rivera's last year's while in Eastern Europe, which is beautiful. Small but very enjoyable.

The Frida Kahlo museum gets most of the publicity, so some people don’t know about the Diego Rivera museum. The main attraction is a large mural on the ground floor, which includes an explanatory guide. (February 2018)

We were staying across the street at the Hilton where the mural was originally housed. There was an older gentleman who volunteer to give us a description and more detailed explanation of the beautiful mural and Diego Rivera.

It's an absolutely adorable place. Very important to see if you are interested in Mexican history - Rivera has shown so much on his mural! The only thing is that all the other exhibitions have been closed at the time we have visited it.

There is only the main Mural on exhibition right now. From november 24th there will be another exhibition.

The mural is beautiful, but it was the only exhibit at the time. The mural is 5 star and worth a visit, the rating is for the museum.

A small and small museum. Worth visiting if you have a little time. I only got to see the first floor because we came too late and near close g time. The mural is very detailed.

Practically the attraction is the famous mural "Sunday promenade in Alameda central" moved here after it was almost destroyed in the Mexico City earthquake.

Diego Rivera was inspired by prehispanic murals which were for educational purposes. He painted this master piece in 1946 to decorate the wall of a five star hotel and was moved after 1985 earthquake.

Sweet little museum. The entrance was free on a Sunday and we paid 5 pesos for "taking pics with iPhones" :-) It's only one mural but it's huge with a lot to look at. Just Google and read something about it and you'll be fine, worth a quick stop

Nice museum and usually on Fridays there's a typical street mart where you can buy at good price souvenirs and near by is an official store for Mexican handmade sovernirs (Fonart)

It was worth going to. I loved the area most of all and the galleries are too cheap in comparison to anything in California to not visit.
