Wonderful hidden gem. The owner and care taker is knowledgeable and kind. He provides a man made outdoor shower to rinse off before entering the cenote. At our request he took pictures of us while we swam and answered many questions we had about the centos and neighboring land. After making sure we were happy and safe in the water took us on a tour around his home to visit his boars, chickens, and Mayan bees. He is a very capable man who lives a simple life and has come up with very cool contraptions for harvesting honey and corn etc. His wife also makes hammocks which she sells to the village stores or you can buy one there which we did. We also purchased the Mayan honey. It's delicious!

Very beautiful I wish I could swim to take advantage of the water but a great experience none the less! It's regarded as a holy place so shoes and pesticides can never enter the water. You have to take a bath before your able to enter
