This review is for Phase 2 which is separate from the main hotel. The property is beautiful and well maintained overlooking the Sea of Cortez. The location is about half way between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas so it is not too far from either. We rented a 2 bedroom condo and the price was reasonable. Phase 2 has a main pool that is heated and a couple of other pools distributed throughout the property. There is a swim up bar in the main pool, but it was not staffed most of the time. There is also a hot tub next to the main pool. You can walk right out on the beach from the condos and the sand was nice. Swimming here is not recommended in the ocean here. As far as amenities go, there was daily maid service, but that's about it. There is no restaurant or bar or food service in Phase 2. The main hotel is a short walk away, but they charge a daily fee to use the amenities there. All in all, a great place to hang out and relax.

Beautiful, clean rooms (junior suite ocean view) in a quiet setting. Staff are very friendly and respectful. Had some issues with my balcony door but they were very accommodating and moved me to a nicer room. Seems better suited for couples or solo travelers though there were families with kids here.

We ate at their beach front Friday night dinner. Not only was the wine list comprehensive of many great Mexican wines, they were also well priced. Salads were delicious as well as the fresh fish and meat we watched being grilled. Service was excellent and music delightful (they did turn down the music volume when I requested). I would definitely spend another Friday night there!

Amazing service and everywhere has a beautiful view. Literally on top of the beach! Fell so in love, I committed to buying a vacation rental! Hope to see you there! 🤩🌈🌍

We have visited this resort twice. Nicely appointed large junior suites with ocean view. The staff is exceptionally accommodating. The resort now offers a breakfast buffet with chiliquiles that are noteworthy. The resort is under new management with a higher emphasis on sales of timeshares and excursions which lowered our enjoyment this visit. I would recommend an upgrade to the fitness center. If you are looking for a boutique resort that is quiet and accommodating, this would be on the short list to stay in the San Jose del Cabo area.

Casa Del Mar is one of the best if not the best luxury hotel I've stayed in yet in Cabo, the suites are very nice and staff are kind, and very relaxed, and it makes you feel as if your at home, and I love the infinity pool that overlooks the ocean.

Nice resort but it's a little out of the way. You definitely need a car to get to restaurants or a beach that you can actually walk on/swim in.

Stunning place, great service in the overall, amazing rooms and housekeeping too, but don't let the welcome cocktail and tequila shot trick you into signing the form and giving money towards the shared time talk they'll push as soon as you check in. Casa del Mar shouldn't take advantage of the tourists that way. The rest of it is worth though.

Overall nice boutique hotel, although restaurant is limited and service can be a little slow. A broken toilet was never fixed in our room despite calls to the front desk.
