Cafe Bizarro lives upto its name. This is a goth bar with good music and crowd. The house IPAs we tried were pretty flat and the mezcals were too strong and left much to be desired. We also had our fair share of listening experience of Depeche Mode, T. Rex, Talking Heads, etc. on a crowded night of Saturday. Thanks to this bar that the good old 80's punk rock, new wave felt alive again. But then again this is CDMX -- good music never died here.

Great little fonda. Food is quite good and healthy portions. At 60 pesos per comida corrida, it is also quite a bargain for the neighborhood. Service is good; the only thing I wasn't a fan of was the rock and roll decor. They accept cards--another plus.

I enjoy to take a sit and have an espresso, plus the food is delicious. My friends and I have spent several hours there, talking, drinking, having fun and meeting people, whilst listening to Peter Murphy, Depeche Mode, VNV Nation, Nine Inch Nails and that sort of music.

A bustling, gothic decorative pub a stone's throw away from Insurgentes where you can enjoy a wide food menu and delicious cold beer

Perfect for spending a nice time with your friends at a table while having some drinks and snacks. There're also different dishes if you want something heavier.

A cool rock bar with good service. Good for watching UFC or for pre-drinking on a night out. Decent bangles and chapatas and reasonably priced for both food and drinks. There is a wide range of imported beers on offer but they come with a premium pricetag, so if you're on a budget, go for the native Mexican ones.
