They do a great job. They have all kinds of excursions, and its in a pretty convenient location, right next to the marina. Not all the workers inside the building speak English, so they had to find a friend close by to translate every once in a while, but it wasn't a big deal. They prefer cash for the pictures afterwards, but they do take credit. The guys that take you out on the boat are fluent in English, and are very friendly. It was a great experience!
I did a tours with this company back in 2012 for my honeymoon. I need to add, they did a great job back then when I used them. I did a parasailing tour that was top notch. The boat driver made a small announcement saying, since it was our honeymoon that he wanted us to be the last one up. It was well worth the wait after four groups went up before we did. My reason for saying that was because he keep us up a bit longer then everyone else and took us very close over Lovers Beach / Divorce Beach. We passed over the cliff areas where the Arco is at. Plus I felt he let us go up higher then everyone else as well.
We went for Beach Hoppers. Totally best bang for your buck. It included both whale watching and snorkeling for about 3+ hours. Our tour guide Solomon was amazing and made our experience awesome.
Helpful, friendly staff- really knew where to go for great snorkeling and even spotted some whales and got us up close. Great adventure.
We booked a snorkeling tour and a whale shark tour with these folks. They were both amazing, and the entire staff was great. Friendly, knowledgeable, and polite. I have to say that swimming with the whale sharks was the coolest thing I have ever done. They are magical!
The places they took us to snorkel were great. Saw so many neat fish. We even had a picnic on a private beach. Would recommend these great people for any of the tours they offer. We will use them again next time we visit Cabo.
This review is for the Beach Hopper Snorkeling tour. We booked the tour from our resort and they picked and dropped us off. The initial check in was smooth and quick and since it was off-season, it ended up becoming just the us in the tour - a private tour. The tour guide Ivan was great - first took us to Santa Maria beach were were saw plenty of fish, and since Chileano was murky, we went to Pelican rock and saw a ton of fish there too - Ivan dove underwater and caught some fish for us and guided us well. We couldn't take any pictures during snorkel as we just had our cell phones.
Jose our captain showed off some of his boating skills (it was pretty fast boat).
Ended the trip with a little big of relaxing on a quiet beach with some snacks they provided.
Overall it was a great snorkel trip.
We went snuba diving with cabo expeditions. We originally had booked to go two days prior but due to bad water conditions we had to reschedule. The team at the office were very accomodationg and nice. While out out of the boat on the way to the snuba sight the guides were very knowledgeable and explained everything to us very well. There were only 4 people snuba diving on this trip so my husband and I had our own guide which was nice and the other two people had their own guide which was nice. I wish I could remember our guides name because he was very awesome the entire tour. I was very nervous and panicky and he did everything to reassure that everything was okay, he even made sure to stay next to me and have hold of my belt. I highly recommend this tour for anyone thinking to go!
Due to fickle mother nature, we spent a good part of our week in Cabo with the cabo expeditions staff. Our snorkeling tour was cancelled twice after we had left the marina due to Port Authority rules. The Cabo Expeditions staff was extremely understanding and accommodating the whole time and we ended up going on a wonderful snorkeling tour at a 50% discount. Jaime and Claudio were incredibly informed, friendly, and professional on our adventures. Highly recommend! We felt safe and in good hands the whole time, even when we saw a shark! 😊 this company stands alone in Cabo as a model of both safety and professionalism.
Great time, only reason for not giving 5 stars is the price for your pictures is $40 USD, definitely price gauging for that location.
Our tour was actually booked through Carnival Miracle Shore Excursions, but the operator was Cabo Expeditions. It was an amazing tour by zodiac. Captain Bernardo was awesome! We saw at least 6 different humpback whales. Our family had the whole zodiac to ourselves from my 13 year old niece to my 73 year old mother. Everyone had a fantastic time and this was the highlight of the cruise. If I'm ever in Cabo again, I will definitely book with Cabo Expeditions.
We did their parasailing tour. The staff were friendly and helpful. The office itself where you check in is small and very crowded if they have a large tour, like shoulder to shoulder crowded. The toilets wouldn't flush there also. There were 4 other couples on the boat to parasail. If I were to go again I would find somewhere that doesn't take as many people because you have to wait 15 min for each couple to go up, it was loud and a long time to just hang on a boat. We felt like we lost a good hour having to wait for the others. They also allowed a lady a second ride before we got on our first so she could get a photo of the arch. We waited for an hour all ready, should have told the lady to wait or no she had her chance. I will go elsewhere next time. Parasailing is fun and actually quiet up there. Didn't get wet at all. You can get all your photos on a CD for $40 US, we thought that reasonable.
I'll keep this simple. I booked a whale shark expedition with Cabo Expeditions in October because I was going to go for 1 full day in January (MLK weekend) and wanted to be assured I wouldn't miss this--it was the entire purpose of the trip. I followed up with them a week before the trip to make sure all was a go and they said yes.
I then flew to Cabo with my girlfriend on Jan 15th and when we arrived I had an email from Cabo Ex saying that they had to cancel the whale shark expedition for the next day due to bad weather that was unsafe.
The weather in the entire area from Cabo to la Paz was perfect and since I had spent upwards of $1,000 to get down there for the express purpose of swimming with the whale sharks I immediately went to the hotel reception and asked her to help me call other providers. Within minutes we had three other groups willing to go and I booked one. The next day my girlfriend and I went to the exact place where Cabo Ex was supposed to take me and the weather was perfect, there were lots of boats out, and we got to swim with the biggest whale shark in the area (Flavio)--it was amazing.
The only reason I can think of as to why Cabo Ex lied to me was because maybe their trip wasn't fully booked and they didn't want to go with just two people. That's fine and reasonable IF YOU TELL ME THE TRUTH. They could've easily told me that they would help me find another tour (and pay the difference) since they were sorry they had to cancel. Instead they LIED TO ME and if I had believed them my trip would've been a waste and I wouldn't have seen the sharks.
I gave them an opportunity to explain themselves and so far nothing but crickets. This is a dishonest operation and they deserve to lose lots of business for lying to customers like they did to me. It's inexcusable.
Best water activities in the area. Tried the SNUBA, Parasailing, whale watching. All the staff is very friendly and knowledgable. Must visit!
I absolutely loved working with Cabo Expeditions on my trip to Cabo San Lucas! We first went on the snorkel and kayaking trip, and our guides shared our excitement for the beautiful area we got to explore. They were very passionate and knowledgeable about the area.
On our parasailing trip with Cabo Expeditions, we again got to work with incredible and kind guides who helped us feel safe during our first-ever parasailing trip. They re-scheduled our trip due to recognition of high winds as a safety concern, which we appreciated. I highly recommend booking through Cabo Expeditions!
