This place no longer has any of the good things of previous reviews. It is now a tiny dark museum of two rooms, with no more than 5 minutes worth of materiel. There is no Cafe and it is only possible to sample and buy chocolate nibs or diabetic chocolate. The staff who work there do not tell you anything about what they sell. Not worth visiting anymore unfortunately!

Museum with little to no interest. We finished the guided tour in 6 min. There is no more production here anymore all is done in Merida. Interesting chocolates to test.

More of a place to hock their merchandise instead of a proper museum that trip advisor will call it, but they do have exciting chocolate flavors to try like sesame seed, anise, and pure dark chocolate.

Nice guide through the chocolate making process. It was a tasty experience sampling the various chocolate flavors. Prices are very high and not every chocolate was in stock.

A lovely shop that allows you to taste the many different chocolates produced using methods from the Mayans. I enjoyed the chilli, ginger, salt, milk, and more.

Neat little shop that explains the history of chocolate in Mexico. The guide had extensive knowledge on everything chocolate. There are a variety of chocolates to taste and, if you would like, purchase.

Great little tour and tasting. Host is very knowledgeable, friendly and there is no pressure to buy but I dare you to leave without purchasing a few boxes of chocolate!
