Disappointing. In fact, this was the only disappointing experience in our five days in and around Valladolid. Three stars for the facility, one star for the tour, and three stars for the tasting. Our tour guide, Nayeli, mumbled her broken English and seemed to contradict the basics of fermenting. This would not warrant a bad review in itself, but she acted as though we were wasting her time by asking questions about the process. She even tried to skip over the distillation step entirely. We left knowing nothing more about the Mayapan making process than when we entered, which was very little. Thankfully the young man who directed our tasting was better informed and more courteous.

Obrovský výběr Tequily,Mezcalu a vyrábí tu i výbornou vlastní Mayskou pálenku - kterou vám dají i ochotně ochutnat :) Je i možnost domluvit si prohlídku.

Great place for visiting. Be careful while shopping though. Prices are almost doubled in comparison to local stores. Tourists are getting ripped off. For that reason only two stars.
