Chipsa and the Staff saved my life. I had stage 4 melanoma almost 30 years ago. So it's safe to say that Chipsa cured my melanoma. Thank you very much.
I was an inpatient there last year for my squamous cell carcinoma head and neck cancer base of the tongue primary tumor. By the time I went back to the States for my scheduled surgery, the surgeon said he was befuddled because the primary tumor was so small he could hardly find it even with the robotic surgery. The C.H.I.P.S.A. MD that was assigned to me and the psychologist were as good or better than any I have ever had in United States. They spent a lot of time talking explaining and counseling. The Gerson diet was very healthy and the care was excellent. Be aware that this is not a 5 star hotel. They put their money into quality care and research. It is an older building, yet accommodations were more than adequate; there was always alkaline water to drink, distilled water at your finger tips, and filtered water for bathing. The Spanish language that most of the housekeepers spoke did not seem to be a problem because there was always somebody there to translate. I highly recommend CHIPSA.
Brought my mom here on July 29, 2018 for treatment for pancreatic cancer for 3 weeks stay. The staff is heart warming and felt like family. We loved the doctors who offered compassionate care and listened to their patients. The doctor spent time explaining the treatments and made sure we understood. Doctors adjusted patients treatment plans based on the patient needs. We returned 2 more times. The next time was for out patient treatment where my mom received two weeks of treatment and the last time was for her to have a hysterectomy during Christmas time. Each time the staff was always caring and compassionate. Doctor care about the patient and are not just in hurry like in the US they actual listen to the patient and obtain a detailed history. The area around the hospital is safe and I as a supporter of my mom spent many days eating, shopping, or walk to the beach. I never felt unsafe. The whole journey with my mom has really changed my life and I am thankful Chipsa was there to support us.
I have traveled all over the states visiting top hospitals in search of a cure for cancer. What I discovered was that AMA doctors all have the same story, they treat the symptoms not the cause. At CHIPSA I found a solution that made sense and the immunotherapy program created for my cancer was delivered by caring professionals. My progress was and is constantly reviewed both during and after my visits there.
