Too noisy, I couldnt even rest. Children running and shouting, the kitchen appliances could be heard from my room at 6am the amenities were ok, they have heating, the room was ok too. Just please, SOUND PROOF them a little more! A little too expensive for whay you actually get.

The beautiful grounds around this hotel, the fireplace in the restaurant, the friendly courteous staff make this a wonderful, quality place to stay in Patzcuaro. A couple of items needed attention (table lamps that wouldn't work), but the room was clean and had modern amenities even with the rustic, colonial decor and architecture. In November the Poinsettias in the gardens alone are worth the visit. Good Internet. The view of the lake from the Balcony, where there's seating for sipping morning coffee adds to the value of staying here for a getaway.

Avoid this restaurant!!!
Service was the worst. We arrived for an early lunch and we were told there would be a 30 mins wait because staff was getting lunch ready.
We waited for 90 mins to get our food. Staff didn't know where our food was. We took it and just left because we needed to be somewhere else. When we finally ate it was greasy, and wasn't tasty at all.response / report this review -

It's a cozy place to stay the night in Patzcuaro. The buffet is límited but delicious, they attend any suggestion.
