  Bel's place was a little paradise to stay at. It felt just like home, a dream home at that. The garden is stunning with endless varieties of flowers In bloom and humming birds dropping by for lunch. The rooms are beautifully decorated and Bela & her team are kind as can be. Breakfast was delicious, fresh fruit and delicious granola. I only wish I had time for one of their masaages. Next time! Thanks again for the perfect stay. Hasta Luego! X

  Si se pudiera poner más estrellas lo haría, es un lugar con calidad y calidez, hace honor a su nombre "BELA". Es un lugar en el que encuentras todas las comodidades del mundo moderno sin perder la escencia de lo cálido.

  Hermoso lugar! Muy agradable, excelente ubicación, el desayuno es muy completo y rico. Bela es una muy buena anfitriona, nos sentimos como en casa. Volvería sin dudarlo.

  My husband and I spent 5 wonderful nights at Bela's B&B. Our stay was delightful! Bela has taken care of every detail. Breakfast was delicious every morning - especially the French toast and the freshly squeezed orange juice. Where else could I get homemade grapefruit jam? The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. We loved our home-away-from-home!

  This is the best B&B you're going to find in San Cristobal. Or Chiapas. Or Mexico. Maybe the world.
  
  The moment you step through the big wooden door that leads to Bela's courtyard, you know you're in for a treat. The garden is beautiful, the rooms are cozy and comfortable. Breakfast is fruit, granola, yogurt and fresh-baked bread. Eggs too, if you ask nicely.
  
  There are five dogs and at any moment, one is likely to be occupying your lap if you're sitting down. My wife and I loved coming through the door after a long day of exploring and being greeted by the pack.
  
  But the cherry on top is Bela herself. She's lived in San Cristobal for 25 years now. She's a repository of knowledge about anything a tourist could ever want to see, do or know. Restaurant recommendations? Check. Adventure tour suggestions? On it. Ate a taco of questionable quality and you spent half the night doing the funky chicken in your bathroom? She's got meds!
  
  I could write pages about how much better my trip was because I got a room here. We're already planning on going back next year, because a week still wasn't enough time to explore all the amazing things in and around this city. You'd better believe that whenever I'm in town, Bela's is the only place I'll consider staying at.
