  My wife and I booked the whale shark excursion for Oct 21, but learned the government had not issued the permits yet; Baja Charters offered to bank our reservation for 3 years, or take us on the remote beaches snorkel trip. We were already on vacation, so we wanted to get out on the water. The crew was very service oriented, the food was delicious, and everyone was very positive. We snorkeled with fish and sea lions, paddle-boarded in a remote bay, laid out on the beach, and enjoyed the catamaran cruise up the coastline.
  
  The waters of La Paz were much calmer than in Cabo San Lucas. As a bonus at the end of our trip, we spotted a whale shark in the water and the crew was very excited to see their first one of the season

  In lieu of a traditional wedding reception, we did an all-day charter of the Baja Pacifica for 22 people, & we couldn’t have asked for a more magical experience! We started off the day with the whale shark snorkel & then did the remote beaches package, which included kayaks & snorkel equipment to go explore. The food, drinks, & customer service put this incredible experience even further over-the-top, which is why I’d like to give special shoutouts to the people who made our wedding an absolute dream. Our hostess, Elly, & Captain Gerardo kept surprising us with amazing little treats throughout the day (we got to swing by the friendly sea lion colony for a peak!) & made sure we got out to see the whale sharks (so grateful for how they handled the hectic changes in our government-issued time slot!). Chef Rubén’s food was sublime - truly the best fish & ceviche I had on the trip! Our captains & guides for the whale shark portion (Gerardo, Alejandro, Eduardo, & Mar) were fun & professional & ensured we had a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Engineer Gabriel & guide Alejandro made sure we had everything we needed to be safe & have fun exploring the beautiful beaches in Balandra Bay. Terry & Christine were fabulous to work with, especially through the trying times of wedding planning during a pandemic - thank you so much for your patience & follow through! The only reason I know this wasn’t too good to be true is my sunburn (Seattle sun was unhelpful in preparing me for this), but this really was the best day of our lives.

  We Chartered the Yacht, we had 12 people and we went swimming with the Sea Lions! We where served Breakfast and Lunch and Birthday Cake! The Beach was amazing ,and the Sea Lions where pretty cool. Anna was our hostess who also was studying Marine biology. The Chips a guacamole where the best we had in Mexico! Truly a Epic Adventure.

  I gave a deposit for a tour for September 18th 2021 and on September 14th I received an email informing me that there was a problem with the boat. They kept pushing for me to book the catamaran informing me it was less money. (Which I knew) this was for my wedding party to tour. Didn’t give me enough time to fine a different option. Had to inform my 20 guest that we were no longer going. They kept blaming the Hurricane that happened the week before. A lot of miscommunication between them. First it was that 2 cabins weren’t available, then it might be running back up, to then saying it was damaged again when put back. Story behind story.

  Excellent charter. Full day to Isla Espiritu Santo. Great skipper and friendly crew, very attentive and accommodating. Clean and comfortable catamaran. Leo is such a good chef. Truly extraordinary team. Don't spend time looking at other options, just book Baja Charters.

  We booked our trip with Baja Charters last minute and Terry was able to accommodate us quickly. We were greeted by the whole crew and served breakfast and drinks. We sailed on their catamaran while they told us all about La Paz and Whale Sharks. We all laughed and it was very comfortable. We swam right next to Whale Sharks. Some times so close we were afraid we might accidentally touch them. Leo took each of us in one on one to make sure we got the best encounter we could. He took videos with his top of the line go pro and sold them to us for a fair price. After the dive we were served a freshly prepared lunch and were able to take hot showers. Adolfo even brought salsas that his wife bought from all over Mexico. We had an amazing time and we felt that we chose the best option for our excursion. Did I mention that we swam with Whale Sharks! A huge thanks to Baja Charters and the whole crew! We will be back!
