While looking around San Jose Del Cabo on one of the Thu night art walks, we decided to pop in for a quick meal since it looked like the menu satisfied the while family's needs - kids options, catered to vegetarians, and had craft beer. Perfect.
The outdoor beer garden was a pleasant place to relax, but unfortunately the food execution let it down slightly. Wings were a bit dry (albeit tasty), and the vegetarian lasagna was more like a eggplant stack (and boring, it didn't even have any pasta).
Service started off well, but as the crowd got bigger during the night, things slowed down - a lot. It took nearly 20 minutes just to pay the bill.
Oh well. Coulda, woulda, shoulda (be better)!
Happy hour stop. Good brew nice snack. Service attendant looked bored!
Beer was ok. The food was pretty good. Nice place. Friendly staff. Service was a bit slow.
We ended up here twice during a recent 5 day vacation, the place was that good :) We started with a easy lunch on a Thursday, the place was kinda sleepy but the waiters were attentive, the beer was yummy and the food was among the best we had in town. We then returned the next night to check out the night life. It was banging, live music, a whole bunch of people, yet still not too crowded. Definitely a great place in San Jose del Cabo.
I'd recommend the Black Ale, and the Chorizo Burger as the standouts.
The bartender is nice, suggest his opinions without pressure. Enjoyed my time here.. Peyote.. strong stuff.. very flavorful.. props Emanuel :)
Good fresh Stout beer on tap!!
Best beer in Mexico! The food is way better than I expected and better than most brew pubs in Portland. A great place to end your down town tour. The shaded garden seating is relaxing. Their donkey logo is awesome too.
The beer is good the restaurant is okay. Lots of loud American music mostly.
The beer was decent, much like all the other craft beer places in the world. Didn't have the pilsner when we were there, would have liked to try it! Service was good and the food was decent. Live band was nice, good atmosphere there as well. Beers we had were good (lager/blond).
always craft beer if the option is available. love the pelirroja and barley wine, got a growler to go, didn't last more than 2days. big outdoor patio, western finger food, right at home. chat up with Carlos of you're a brewer yourself, very passionate about beers, or just take a brewery tour along with samples. they also have flights for sampling, of you're new to this. the bar outside SJD airport arrivals also sells their bottles.
The restaurant was good but their store was great!
Service was close to great, maybe they could be more attentive to clients requests - I asked if the plate I wanted (something with mushrooms) would have onions and was told that it didn't and it did. Luckily, my husband ate it and I got somenthing else.
The beer was delicious and very affordable.
