TIP: Eat a better main course (at a reasonable price) else where, and then come to Alexander's for the generous chocolate fondue dessert (definitely the highlight of our meal).
Lots of staff should ensure prompt service, but unfortunately most of them are looking away from the tables (towards the sidewalk) trying to get more customers in.
On top of that, the tableside flambe tuna dish I ordered turned into a show for passing potential diners, instead of for us, the actual paying guests.
Food was reasonable, but just too expensive (more than $20 USD for a basic tomato pasta, and it was certainly nothing special). We had far better meals at better (or similar) prices elsewhere.
If the meals were better, the prices were lower, and they concentrated on their actual customers, maybe a few more people would actually want to eat here. At least the view of the marina is nice (when you can see past the staff)!response / report this review -

Best Itailian in Cabo. Very dialed in cuisine, clean elegant food. From seafood to steak and pasta you can't go wrong. Very cool presentation with any of their table side preperations, cesear salad or flambe dishes, coffees, etc. Must go if you are by the marina in Cabo!

Delicious seafood, excellent margaritas, and a gorgeous and peaceful view of the marina from outdoor, undercover seating. Did I mention the margaritas? Delicious and they don't skimp on the good stuff. What a great place to relax.

I am not keen on the guys outside trying to drag you into their restaurant but we had a positive experience at this one.
The food was tasty but as expected quite pricey with the location and thus felt like they could have been better. The starters and desserts were definitely better than the mains.
What made the night was how friendly the staff were and the ambiance of the restaurant. Almost my favourite places in the area.response / report this review -

Great find! We were out walking and actually listened to one of the guys working out front trying to get us to come eat there, and it was a great choice! Table side Cesar salad was the Best! We had sake tuna that was prepared table side too, and it was awesome. When in Cabo, you must eat tuna (it is caught daily in their back yard). All five of us enjoyed our meals. High recommend going here. The service was also over the top excellent.

I come here EVERY TIME I come to Cabo!!! They ALWAYS make me HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY !! Must have the Ahi Sashimi, the Caesar Salad prepared Fresh !! You can't go wrong with this place! Love the atmosphere! Small and special! This time I had the Tequila Prawns 🍤!! Chef Little Emilo was Awesome!

We caught some fish back from a boating trip and brought it to Alexander's. They processed them and cooked it for us in four ways - ceviche, grilled, seasoned, and deep fried. Ultra delicious, and the varieties of sauces are fantastic too!

I couldn't think of a good reason to ding this place a star. It's very unassuming, but don't let that dissuade you. Tucked in among wall to wall bar/restaurants, this place looks like any other. Sits right on the marina, so it's a great place for people watching or seeing the boats roll in and out. The food was outstanding. We had a variety of fish, chicken, salad, tacos All were very good. Prices were reasonable. Service was good once we got past a slight language difference. All in all, I would strongly recommend Alexander's for lunch or dinner amongst strolling the marina.

We were stopped one morning and asked to have breakfast by a waiter. Since we had missed our breakfast cruise we figured why not. The French toast was amazing, fruit plate was fresh and I had the breakfast burrito which was filling. We watched another server making a ceaser salad by hand. He meticulously mixed all the ingredients. Then after he served his guest he must have over heard my wife and I ooing and ahhing because he brought us a little to share and it was killer. We ate at a very expensive restaurant that evening and ordered a ceaser salad made table side but sadly it didn't measure up. We love Alexanders so much the next day we came back for dinner. The place was alive and busy. Our food was again stunning and the staff was amazing. All restaurants make mistakes and they made a minor one on my breakfast burrito by not leaving the tomatoes off, but I still have a hard time dinging them for that after the great food and wonderful memories we had.

Wow. I cannot rave about this place enough. This was easily one of the best meals I have ever had. Over 1,100 raving reviews on Trip Advisor, so we had to try it. Dinner and a show. Much of your meal is prepared in front of you and everything is phenomenal and fresh. I had some of the best tortilla soup of my life and the group I was with had pastas, seafood, and fajitas. I felt we kept having to close our eyes to savor all of the flavors. You MUST leave room for dessert. You'll be so thankful you did with the fruit flambe!
