Definitely catered to the classic American sports fans, but a nice spot to have a drink on the rooftop, catch up on US sports, and people watch (the rooftop overlooks the main square/plaza area). If you're looking for alcohol, try the bulldog (margarita with a Corona or Pacifico bottle dunked into it). Yeah, they have these in the U.S., but you get a full sized beer and no silly plastic holder to make sure it doesn't fall out 😜

5 stars if you want to watch sports and do shots, the name does not lie! Decor is cool for that kinda joint as well. Food was subpar thus 3 overall. Great patio! Very fairly priced beverages. Slow service also held back better experience.

We had heard many fun stories of shooters and we're not at all disappointed. The food was soooo goodeverything we tried was delicious. The service awesomeMimi remembered me by name, the atmosphere was terrific.. .lots of laughter and good times and owners so welcoming. Shooters exeeded our expectations. We hope to be back there next year!

Food and drinks were terrific as usual. But when my wife paid the bill $720. Pesos she gave the
waiter two $500 peso notes , moments later he returned with a$500. Peso and a $50 peso note
saying “Sorry but this is not correct “ This happened Friday and there were three waiters at the time two men and one woman. So, anyway it was kinda disappointing ,we are here for months every year and hopefully this was the rare exception. The only other time this happened to me was three years ago
when a gas station attendant pulled the “Old Switcheroo” with the $500 / $50 peso which I found out later happens quite a lot to Tourists.response / report this review -

Has something changed at shooters in the past year? We have been coming to San Jose for 10'years and always visit shooters. It's a tradition for our family and we have had great experiences in the past. This past spring we went and noticed the quality of service was a little less than what we had previously and the food was average. Keeping with tradition, we were there again today and things seem to have continued on the down hill trend. Our applies seemed pre-made and simply warmed up before coming to us, and they were not fully warm when they did come. The salsa came in a plastic cup and was frozen, very odd considering this is a staple item in Mexico. The good news is that the beer was ice cold and my wife really enjoyed her drink, so that kept us happy. Service was slow though, so when Our drinks were empty, eventually we had to wave someone down for a refill and the place maybe only had 5 tables with guests. Normally, they were on point with offering more drinks etc before you finished, but today it was a good ten minutes and we had to get their attention. I would always recommend shooters to friends in the past, but not sure we will be back, there are too many options available with great food and drinks. Sorry shooters.

Great roof top sports bar to enjoy a fantastic margarita, cold beer , munch on some chicken wings and enjoy the game. Street Parking available.

Owner was snobby, was talking to others in bar who were also Canadian as we're we but because there were no men in our group our existence was not even acknowledged. Food was just ok but our server was good

Enjoyed watching the football game here, although my team lost! Good service, nice atmosphere, food was decent, no complaints really! Being open and outdoors gives it a great feel. No Mexican experience here if that's what you're looking for, only Ex-pats and sports fans!

Terrible exchange rate of $15MXD to $1USD when all other restaurants were $18-20MXD to $1USD. The guacamole and salsa were bland and less than what I would serve at home. The salt and pepper wings were incredibly greasy, even for a sports bar.
In addition, while we were at the bar upstairs, an elderly lady fell and bloodied the back of her head, to the size of an orange, and nothing was done other than a cold towel and water bottle.
I would not recommend this place nor come back again.response / report this review -
