Beautiful porch with many different picturesque seating areas. The manager (Bonn?) is friendly, resourceful, and helpful (including turning on the generator frequently for us during a bad phase of blackouts). The dinners include large portions and some amazing cauliflower/cheese thing, and the atmosphere is perfect almost any time of day.

Safara House is a lovely place in a quiet spot. The accommodation is beautifully appointed and there are plenty of comfortable areas to relax in. Traci and Mick the owners are so helpful and really helped us settle in Lilongwe before we found our new home. They even recommended the person to find our new home! Also introduced us to new friends. All the staff are very obliging and always happy to help. The evenings can be enjoyed at the bar followed by a lovely meal under the stars or at a table on the extensive verandah. Traci has designed the decor which is amazing, all very homely but with some quirky touches. We really enjoyed our stay. A real home from home.
