Always a pleasure being in Blantyre, home away from home when staying in the Protea. Great food, great people and the staff are amazing e.g Kondwani and Edith 👌🏽 keep up the good work!
Great rooms, great food and atmosphere
Value for money! Well kept, neat and clean! Friendly professional personnel.
The service was excellent and food... amazing
What one would expect from a Protea Hotel. Pretty much first world
Great vibe, and food is good too, they have a buffet every night or you can order from their menu if you like, Friday night's they have a live band playing.
In the heart of the Blantyre CBD . This is a great place to dine and sleep and also have conferences
The place is nice and quiet. It's very good for business meetings and other official gatherings. Offers a great selection of menus. Sea food is also available. The place clearly conforms to some international standards, as it is part of a larger conglomerate of hotels.
Excellent hotel. Comfortable with excellent service standards and food options.
Good service, Internet and Wi-Fi is a real issue
Great rooms, good service and generally a fantastic experience
The friendly, helpful staff at Ryalls makes this my hotel of choice. Add to that an awesome Marriot Rewards programme and you have a winning combo. Located perfectly in the CBD, access to Taxis and/or simply walking the town is definitely an easy option
Only visited the restaurant and the services were good. I loved the way the place looked and the was delicious.
Fancy hotel. Very clean rooms with quite good sercice, good meals.
Just improve toilets with good showers that spread well the water. Also some french tv chanels might be interesting.
NICE PLACE
There's a dress code at the restaurant and bar. This is very strange for Malawi, where people couldn't afford suits. Therefore the local people can't come into the building. Apartheid in Malawi.
Excellent place. The ambience is great too
Beautiful hotel with great service. Love the atmosphere.
Excellent hotel in Blantire Malawi. Nice food, accommodation and conferences
Their food is definitely the best hotel food ever! The desserts are delicious and well worth a try. I particularly love their gardens that can be enjoyed from the juliet balconies. There are some small shops on the same premises- don't miss out on these! A travel agent and some locally made jewelry (great for a gift for someone back home)
Quite well maintaned and economic. Has got a gym, a pool and a decent wifi connectivity. Food is great at an affordable price. Hotel staffs are very friendly and attentive. Could have added some ,like a dental kit, a shoe kit, bathroom slippers. Those who are used to using the bidet spray or a health faucet or a "bum gun", they are going in for a big dissapointment. That is the area where i am also struggling 😉
Warm bar, neat executive look and feel
My favorite hotel in Malawi! Clean, comfortable, with good internet. Delicious breakfast, with specialty coffees available.
Clean and well managed. Great staff. A little pricey.
Very beautiful and safe hotel, no need to worrry about Mosquitoes as they have the wall socket repellents here and as along as you don't open your room windows, you should be safe.
I only ate at the restaurant ryalls grill 21. But it was one of the best places I have eaten at in years! Food was delicious, service just impressive and everything at very cheap prices! Went two times and I am very looking forward going again! I highly recommend the salmon salad and the espetada that they set on fire in front of you, lovely show.
Good hotel. Relatively quick service.
Good steak and lovely service
Great response, and good airport collection. Open reservation, and well done for staff. Card seemed to work is great. Good breakfast and in evening Sunday a loud band. great back up gen set which is necessary, and also internet as good as it gets in Malawi. A good trip.
