Spent a week vacation here last year after a few weeks work in Tanzania. Great breakfast options, the french toast and french pot coffee are legendary. Allen the inn keeper is a great down to earth guy.

A lot of things to say about that place.
We spent there almost a week during last december.
The place is really nice. Clean, quiet, with an amazing view of the lake. The room was quite good. The only issue was that there were no hot water for the shower. The bad thing was that even after three days the situation was solved. The good thing was that the third day we were moved, as a compensation for the issue, to a huge cottage with private hot water and the expenses for the first three days were lowered as we were sleeping in dormitories. This was simply great.
Food was really good even if a little bit too expensive. The only issue about food was that the "speciality of the day" were always the same. After two days we were bored to eat the same things. Please, do better about this!
Anyway I think the place is great and I recommend it 100%response / report this review -

Hatten leider nistende Vögel im Zimmer die Federn und Dreck von draußen mit rein brachten. Ansonsten war vor allem die Lage direkt am See perfekt. Dank eines Besuches des Präsidenten in der Region gab es während unseres Aufenthaltes durchgehend Strom.

Good place but you'll need cash for they do not use card. Also there are hagglers waiting for you at the beach and they don't take no for an answer. But overall, we had lots of fun and for a great price.

This is by far my favourite stop along the Cape Maclear stretch. The owner is a very nice guy and the atmosphere is perfect for that "getaway" feel that us townsfolk crave so much. Be sure to get your Bookings in quickly if you want the luxury suites. Otherwise enjoy the private pool and possibly the best breakfast along the "golden sands" stretch.

Excellent place. Perfect design, many nice details, pool, slackline, hammocks, decent food for little money. Stayed in their dorm for a few days, by far the best price/quality ratio in Cape McLear. Try their coffee (they put some cinnamon in it!) and their fresh fruit juices!

시설이 그리 좋지는 않다. 물도 잘 안나오고 전기도 약하지만 이곳의 생선 요리는 최고중의 하나로 불릴만 하다는 생각이 든다.

Delightful place to stay. Great range of rooms , all with Great Lake views. Delicious food and a big screen for sports and films. Highly recommend!
