Best place at Chitimba, with Willy, the owner, as lively and interesting as anyone you’ve ever met. Chatting with him for hours seems like minutes, especially over a couple beers! If you want real hospitality, you’ll not find another place where the staff and owner genuinely care about you more.

The rooms are simple and clean. Martha the chef makes super delicious food. Willy is such a lovely host I could hear his stories all day long. The warm and friendly atmosphere makes you feel like home. I definitely recommend this place for all backpackers and campers.

I love it. Feel like home in Malawi. Hkuna Matata. Take it easy. But take it if you are in Malawi. Enjoy the spirit of the Lake.

Brillant place with owners that will grow close to your heart. Oom Willie and Maggie(the chef) runs the campsite and their stories are intriguing to hear.
There are cottages and a campsite on the beach. Real African vibes. Not one of the grand tourist places that doesn't really offer a true African experience.
