Nice view of malawi lake and friendly staffs, except super big dog ,unfriendly female boss, and leaking rain from ceiling of room.
First,
I was strolling with my friend in front of a tramplauline. SUDDENLY a huge dog ran and barked to us. We were so scared. So we requested to the female boss to tie the dog. But she yelled "I am not gonna tie my dog!!!! He is just my pet!!! Okay?" Even though the dog is her pet, she never said sorry to us. So for 2 nights, i was not free from the huge dog.

Second, RAIN LEAKING PROBLEM
I stayed in this lodge in rainy season. At the midnight of 2nd day, it started to rain outside. And few minutes later, the rain leaked from ceiling of my bed. So I couldn't sleep at all, and even I took a umbrella on the bed (That's not overstating). So next morning, I explained to reception what happend last night. And requested to reward about that horrible happening. The reception said sorry, but the boss even didn't show up and just gave money back around 10,000 kwacha.
The boss was just looking apart from us.

I don't highly recommend this lodge if you are not dog friendly person, and if you don't want to sleep with un umbrella when it's rainy heavily.

The resort is a great camping spot with good ablution facilities and very friendly and hospitable staff. The beach and immediate water's edge was very dirty and smelly, but further off away from the village side of the shore on the island side, snorkling and swimming is great.

Dear monkeys, thank you so much for having me at your lovely establishment. Everything was amazingly tip top! The rooms, the kitchen, the location, the staff. Everything was great. Thank you so much barman Ibo, you are the best! I would had liked to win with pool to honour you but superpowers were off. Thanks for showing me the local life! Love you!!!

Only slept in the dorm for one night. Decent dorms with mosquito nets and fan. Shower and toilets were clean. Chicken curry was really good.

Great place for young people, away from all the hub of other backpackers in the area. Situated right on the lake, this place gives you the feeling of living right next to the locals.
