The inn is a nice place with a nice beach. The white sands on the beach are unique on lake Malawi. The staff is friendly and the food is nice 😋

What a wonderful place with wonderful staff. I stayed there for a few nights and I must say it is one of the most relaxing places I've been in Malawi. Food is also quite excellent.

Oh boy! These people need to be kicked out from doing business in Malawi. They treat locals like crap even those who can afford to pay their salaries. They charge people money to enter the premises. Who does that? Its a hotel for crying freakin loud! The beaches still remain open to public. All beach front in Malawi is open to the public. I went there with my cousin on one of the numerous visits to Malawi these guys refused us entry demanding that we pay to enter just to go in so we can buy food. Not only that, they gave us rotten meat. When i complained this other caucasian owner just went crazy speaking in a very condensending manner like we are idiots. At that point i lost it.
They are in Malawi not their homeland of South Africa where they practice racial division. They continue to treat the locals like they dont count and yet they are operating in our soil. The government hears all these complaints and they ignore them. I was further appalled to hear one of the country renowned country Court Judge lamenting in his facebook timeline about their ill treatment of locals and that made my jaw drop. I thought it was just me who observed that but i guess not.
I hope it catches up with them. The white lady owner/director is a total racist and uses bad words to clients of black race.
I will never ever patronize them again.

Last month, my brother and I decided to revisit our memorable place from childhood. I was surprised to note that we had to pay to get into the establishment. I was surprised, because after days of travelling along Lake Malawi, there was not one single place that asked for payment to get in. Secondly, when we went to order food, the waiter ignored us and went to serve other people who had come after us. I complained to another waiter who was asked to serve us by the one who had ignored us earlier. She advised me to tell their Manager. It was clear to us that we were being ignored because we were locals. As we were about to leave, the Manager and a lady who I believe to be the owner approached us to explain that we were not being ignored, because of skin colour, but rather the people who were served first had ordered before us. Ok! Then why were they holding menus and refusing a request for fries? My brother and I both witnessed them ordering right in front of us. The waiter wrote their order right in front of us. It is possible that they had indeed ordered before us. All the waiter had to do was to explain the situation, because we asked him why he did not serve us first as we had been standing there for over 15 mins. My brother and I's witness to the account was totally disregarded by this lady who informed us with an attitude that in the future the waiters will serve us first before going to serve others. I told my brother that I was really disappointed, but I should have expected that kind of attitude from people who are requesting for payment before getting in. Needless to say, I miss the old Inn that was run by the government when I was a child. I will not be visiting this place in the future. I was willing to over look the waiter's attitude, but the lady ruined it!
