Only 3 stars, but read on Stayed here with a group of volunteers. It's Malawi, so there are a number of issues beyond the hotels control, but they would certainly receive 5 STARS for effort The staff are fantastic, warm a welcoming. The standard of English is pretty good, although challenging at times. I DO recommend staying here. The hotel makes a lot of effort to prepare good quality food, recognising the sensitive stomachs of westerners!!! The down sides. In our room, we never managed to have a proper hot shower, and worse, when there are power cuts (which are frequent), even with the generator on, the shower just didn't work at all. The WiFi is good for Malawi, but realise that this is actually pretty poor. And finally, the outside areas are rife with mosquitos and midges The hotel could perhaps burn coils or special candles or something..
