Employees are liars. Scheduled us for a later flight and told us that our flight is the first flight of the day to our resort, when it was not.
No regard for customer service.

A first class sea plane operation to connect the hundreds of islands in the Maldives, a magical tourist destination in the Indian ocean. The sixty odd Aircraft and excellent connections and service makes this airline truly a tourists paradise.

Great service the sea plan terminal building is very open and nice when it's a little windy but no aircon. Your not waitin too long so it's not that bad.

Seaplane is a fun trip but for anyone who gets seasick or motion sickness don't bother you chuck ya breakfast up :)

Trans Maldivian Airways (M8) is a terrific commuter carrier servicing the archipelago of the Maldives. They are friendly, extremely conscientious and refreshingly laid back.

We used Trans Maldivian Airways on a trip to the island of Villu Reef and I have to say that it was a pretty good experience.
The Pilots were nice and friendly along with being very skilled.
I am pleased we chose to fly the 35 minute journey to our resort rather than a 4 & a half hour Speed Boat ride.
Highly recommended.

Ordered a club sandwich from the cafe in seaplane terminal and I was asked to wait 20 minutes for the order to be ready. When I checked in about 25 mins everyone in the cafe was wondering who took the order and they didn't know about it. Supervisor there is blaming someone else and everyone else blaming eachieve other. Finally I decided to cancel the order and take a refund. After that they offer a free meal but that was not my intension so just took the drink I ordered and paid for that.

If you have alternative transportation options for getting to your Maldives resort, I highly recommend using it, even if that means a boat ride that takes several times as long. The airline charges for extra weight (luggage) but then will send it over on a separate plane because the plane that they put you on is overweight. They plane itself is like a hot box. It was so hot inside that I was drenched by the end of it. No air conditioning and its 32 degrees Celsius and humid as it gets. This airline is after one thing and one thing only, your money. They don't know what customer service is! Like a said at the start, if you can avoid this flight, you'll be doing yourself a huge favor.
