Whaleshark, Mantas, Eaglerays, Sharks,.. good rental equipment, clean air, nice rooms, great staff what more is there to ask? Perfect!

Wer das typische Maledivische Leben und essen erkunden möchte,ist bei Shamar bestens aufgehoben. Perfektes essen und vor allem perfekte und einzige Tauchbasis auf der Walhai Insel Maamigili.

Shamar guesthouse is the only Dive center in Maamigili island so is the best place to be for watching the Whale Shark,I saw one with Shamoon a friendly guy who show you all best of Maamigili and around,he knows perfectly best spots dive and where and when to see Whale Sharks 🐳 he also goes to nice snorkels places

I was there for diving but due to the timing of my flight, i could only dive there for 2 days (4 dives) and 2 day of excursion/snorkelling.
The hotel staff were pleasant and the room are superb! Truly nothing to complaint.
The dive center on the other hand was perfect, inside the guesthouse.
However, my experience with the dive team is nothing short of amazing! friendly and helpful staff. Despite only 2 days dive, we had encountered manta rays, whale sharks, and even eagle rays! The marine life in Maamigili island surrounding is marvellous and i had such a regret for poorly executed trip this time around. Would visit again no doubt.response / report this review -
