I looked at several properties in the Maldives for my honeymoon, and I truly don't know why you'd stay anywhere else. The value is incredible, as for a similar price to other resorts, you have so much more included! Not just all inclusive board, but excursions and daily spa treatments as well. All the staff was amazing, in particular, Pragya from The Club was always very attentive and friendly, asking after our plans and ensuring we had a great stay. Also, Ray from the Dive Center was fantastic in helping me on my first dive. She was very thorough in the explanation of the equipment and process, and really made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I definitely took advantage of the daily spa treatments, while my husband traded two of his treatments for two dives (only for already certified divers). The resort was almost at capacity while we were there, but the busiest it ever looked was just around dinner time. We only had a problem with availability for dinner at their Italian/Seafood restaurant, but we were able to go twice for lunch instead. Never had a problem securing other meal reservations or excursions. The only other advanced reservation recommendation would be for the spa, as the "couples" timeslots were sometimes a little harder to come by, but we made it work. Overall it was an amazing week, and we look forward to returning one day!

A real treat in every way - great beaches, great food, great service, lots to see and do, for adults and kids alike, superb atmosphere, superb accommodation, no bugs or insects or other nuisances, relaxing to the point of dreaminess. But definitely more for couples and families - couldn't imagine any single party-goers having a very good experience here

Excellent!!! We stayed here for our honeymoon, had the ocean villa initially but was offered upgrade to sunset pool villa. Everything was perfect from the room to the views to the service and the food!!! Couldn’t recommend it enough!! Can’t wait to go back!

After Arrival Male Airport, we went to the Counter 12 of Centara.
From this point on, everything runs like 5 Star, perfectly. The Staff did the Check-in for the domestic flight to Maamigili Villa Airport, they carry our luggage, and we must do nothing. After landing, bus transportation to the speedboat, 20 min ride and we arrive the Island.
Check-in very friendly and smooth. We arrived little bit early, and room was not ready. They send use immediately to the Reef Restaurant, for Lunch.
We had the Deluxe Family Water Villa. The size of the Villa super, separate rooms, specially build up for kids, PlayStation etc. two Showers, two bathrooms, excellent.
Now I will cut this feedback: Cleaning 5 Star, Staff 5 Star, Restaurants 5 Star, and we used all Restaurants (Italian, Thai and Reef), Food 5 Star, SPA 5 Star (every day 30min per Person incl.). My daughter she said, please write also about Kids Club, 6 Stars.
Finally, the whole Island, Organization is 5 Star.
There was only a small issue, and I sent an email to the Reception.
Couple of hours later, the Manager comes to my Villa and we talk about this on. Many thanks to Mr. Shekhar.
This Ultimate All Inclusive, cover everything, and you need not any extra money. There are some extras, like food, Lobster, extra fish plates, extra massages or The Club, there are very expensive, and is not required. The All Inclusive give you a very good quality of food, vine, alcohol etc.

We almost had a chance to visit the heaven. It was very exciting trip to see the whale shark among the storm. I wondered why they did not stay in the safe place and waited until the sky was clearer before going back to the hotel.

We just returned home from our Honeymoon at Centara Grand. The experience FAR exceeded our expectations! We were hoping to get away for 2 weeks just to relax in a remote location and enjoy our time as newlyweds.
What we got was an experience that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We traveled 39 hours door to door to get there and 32 hours home, and we would do it again tomorrow if we could.
The accommodations were far beyond what we expected. Private with stunning views of the ocean and sunset (Villa 88). We were able to snorkel right off the back deck in the crystal clear ocean.
On top of the accommodations, the food was spectacular. We were honestly not expecting a great deal from the food as we have stayed at all inclusives before and the food has been less than stellar.
However, in each restaurant, not only was the food excellent, but the chefs made it a point to personally greet us and even offered us special samplings that they had been working on as well! The Reef restaurant gave us a true taste of different cuisines of the world as their menu was constantly changing.
Above all else, the thing that truly stood out above everything was the staff. From top to bottom, the staff made our stay truly memorable and the people at Centara are what we will miss the most.
Every staff member that we encountered was friendly, helpful, and genuinely tried their best to make our stay pleasurable. They took the time to get to know us, get to know what we preferred, and make us laugh.
We have already begun referring everyone we know to Centara, and will definitely return in the future. If you are looking for an excellent vacation spot, go to Centara. If you want a truly unforgettable honeymoon, I don't believe there is anything out there that could top the experience we just had for the past 2 weeks.
From relaxing in the room, snorkeling around the island, the many excursions included, the daily massages at the spa (Dewi was awesome!), relaxing and having drinks by the pool (Siva is a great bartender!), to the outstanding food in the restaurants, along with the natural beauty of the Maldives. It could not have been more perfect, and we thank everyone at Centara Grand for their exceptional work and efforts! We will see you soon!response / report this review -

Amazing place to be, truly a paradise. Service was top notch. We took the over water villa and did snorkelling by the villa everyday. The variety of species and colour of fishes by the villa was far better than the actual location of snorkelling excursion taken. All inclusive deal was worth it, spa was refreshing and soothing, my i could not really find anything negative. Centara is lucky to have good passionate staff. Highly recommended!

Service is impeccable and worry free. From the moment you land in the international airport, the local staff would greet you and handle your transfer to the resort via domestic flight tickets or seaplane transfer. Once on the island, all staff are eager to assist and ensure you're welcomed and are having a great time. The food is very good and did not disappoint. The views are absolutely stunning.

A holiday in this prestigious resort shall grant you the wish of having the best five star experience in Maldives!
It has ultimately bagged the honour of being one of the best resorts in Maldives. In fact, it has made its way to the top ten Maldivian luxury resorts.
A vast majority of its visitors define the place as a simple barefoot paradise.

Excellent food, spectacular house reef right around the water villa, nice beaches, lots of fun activities, such as whale shark snorkeling, sunset criise, sunset fishing, banana boat, parasailing, fish feeding, wind surfing, watercycle, etc. Superb hospitalitywith friendly and helpful staff, golf car service. Club lounge for those preferring more privacy. Teen e-zone and kid club.

It's like a paradise resort. My family, mom, dad, brothers and I stayed in a Family Room and the food is delicious though I had food poisoning (probably because I forgot to wash my hands) and i saw a ton of sharks in shallow water. The staff are soooo nice and I really want to go back there again. I really enjoy it.

This is like heaven on earth. WE spent 7 nights here and stayed in a 2 bed family room unit 6 with a personal pool and then moved to an over water bungalow room 13. They were both absolutely AMAZING!!!! My wife and I enjoyed a 30 minute spa treatment every day plus we had some extra services- the team were INCREDIBLE. The food was beautiful with plenty of choices!!! The staff went out of their way for you in every situation. WE celebrated our daughter's 7th birthday while we were there, they made her a cake and then also had their musician's come to the Italian restaurant and sing her Happy Birthday. This was the most amazing 7 night holiday we have ever had.Thank you
