Amazingly courteous staff. They knew what we need before we even asked. Since we were on honeymoon, they arranged some really sweet dinners for us. The garden table dinner that we had is one of the best. I felt I tipped a lot less for what I got :-D. Top notch experience overall. I'd definitely recommend this place, and will surely visit again!

Just amazing stay. Been here for 2 nights and 3 days, very relaxing. The staff were very customer oriented and makes me feels at easy. Room clean and tidy. Food very good. I recommend.

My wife and I have just spent 10 days at The Westin and can not speak to highly of the place, the food, the setting and the staff. It is the first holiday in many, many years that we both did not want to end. The rooms were clean and spacious, the hotel well laid out and easy to move around, the food sensational and the staff. Special mention to the following who excelled. David in the Retreat Bar, Umar who kept our room spotless and Krishna The Duty Manager who was always there to help. The gym was also fantastic.
To all thank you for making this a tremendous holiday and especially on our wedding anniversary where they even put a cake in our room and decorated the bed with rose petals and a heart.

Very beautiful, contemporary and a peaceful resort in the north west of Mauritius. Two beautiful pools, lots of sun beds and amazing customer service . Westin has it's own Boat house where you can do free water-sports activities such as kayaking. Beautiful surrounding with lots of activities to participate in the resort including Yoga classes.

TIP: The location is so remote nothing is nearby (shops / independent restaurants) you will have to take a taxi or go by your car. Food & Drinks prices of the resort is very expensive (Central London prices) So I would highly recommend going all inclusive.

Amazing hotel. Perfect service. I would only recommend going here all inclusive working out how much it was non all in made my eyes water. One thing I would like to complain about is that the selection of drinks was a bit limited for all inclusive and the drinks that weren't included were the same for both inclusive and non inclusive customers. Its only fair the price should be lower for all in customers as they have already paid a large up front fee.

This was our third visit to Mauritius but the first time at the Westin, an excellent hotel and beautiful setting in Turtle Bay. There are a few restaurants but we only used the buffet as the variety was very good and in 10 days we didn’t feel the need to go elsewhere. Our room was a beachfront deluxe and it was very big! The bathroom was amazing and the bed very comfortable. Our room was adjacent to the beach and the adult only pool which suited us perfectly. All staff were very attentive and polite, special mentions to Laura and Raj who were very friendly and seemed genuinely focused on making our stay perfect in every way. While staying there was a cat3 cyclone alert and the hotel had to take safety precautions to protect us; they were very quick to react, offered great reassurance and did everything they could to keep us safe, we were very impressed, some of the staff could not get in so those there had to work around the clock and couldn’t go home for a few days, but through it all they remained calm and continued to offer great service, superb professionalism.
We would highly recommend this resort for a relaxing, luxury holiday.
The location is great for exploring the north of the Island where, in our opinion, the weather is generally the best, but you can of course readily explore the whole island too.

I just arrived, and already have no desire to stay at this hotel. I don’t know how rooms are good, but staff simply can’t keep their promises. We arrived early, but a staff told as that room will be ready soon. Probably 1-2 hours. When 2 hours were gone, I asked again when the room will be ready, so I could plan my day. Ones again, another staff assured me that the room will be ready by 12 pm. At 12 pm we asked again for the room. At this time, one more staff told as that room can’t be ready than 3pm. I understand that check in time is 3 pm. However, nobody asked them to assure us that room will be available earlier. Four hours later, after we arrived, another family checked in and got their room right away at 12 pm. How come? Don’t feel right to me.

Spacious and very nice decor. The service is really very good and they make a lot of efforts to render the place environment friendly. The food variety is good and the pool area is quite close to the sea. Just too bad that they don't have a very large strip of natural beach. But they really render the sea accessible and landscape the scenery to make you forget this little part

It's one of the best resorts I have been to.
The service they provide is one of the top notch.
The rooms have a beach view which is awesome. There are various restaurants inside the resort. Being Indians we preferred Kangan Restaurant which provides authentic Indian food and the taste is also delicious.
They extended our checkout to 5 pm since we had the large night flight without any extra charges.

We stayed at the resort earlier this year and couldn’t have been happier with the level of service the quality of the facilities. From arrival to departure the team showed professionalism and warmth towards us, creating a very welcome feeling. I thought the General Manager led by example with his level of customer service and this was displayed by all the staff we came into contact with, from memory their were two team members, Deepty and Pamela who stand out in showing a great deal of care and attention during our stay which made it very special and we wanted to express our thanks to them both. We took advantage of the executive lounge which was always well catered for and a welcome place to relax. We had our 7 month old daughter with us and visited the kids club facility which was very well equipped and used the baby sitting service which was extremely reasonable in price. If you want a family friendly welcoming holiday this is a first class place and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

The Westin turtle bay is a great resort to spend your vacation on Mauritius. The rooms are of great size and all have an outdoor seating, the westin bed is heavenly! One of the best things of the resort are the water sport activities as sailing, water skiing and snorkelling trips are all free of charge. The restaurants are good and the Indian outstanding. The resort is very remote so recommend to get a rental car as there is literally nothing around the resort which is a plus and a minus. The gardens of the resort are amazing. Would definitely recommend the westin turtle bay!

A very nice resort. Despite its (huge) size, you dont feel see the crowd thanks to the 2 swimming pools and 5 restaurants. Great sunset view from the beach/bar.
Rooms are modern, large and clean and staff extremely friendly and caring. The junior suite has a large terrace with a nice view on the pool and see.
You feel good immediately on arrival and all along the stay.
Plan to rent a car or use the driver service as there is nothing around at walking distance.
One point of improvement could be the quality of food especially at the beach grill - missing flavours and taste - more Mauritius influence would add value.
However overall a great stay!

Spent only a one-day workshop here. Service was very good and nicely equipped conference room. Food was excellent. Reception in the morning was a bit lacking but everything else went wonderfully after. Very spacious great place.

One or the best resorts on Mauritius is the Westin Turtle Bay. It is a beautiful 5 star resort just north of Port Louis and about a 40 minute drive from the airport. The property itself is located right on the beach which is running along side the whole of the resort. The open air lobby has plenty of seating with a great view of the fountains surrounding the hotel as well as the beach. There is also a huge executive lounge next to reception with is open all day and serves breakfast, afternoon tea and evening canapes and drinks. There is also a business centre and showers if you need it. There are six different restaurants around the resort as well as pool and in room dining. The Spa has a long list of treatment and has a hamam, sauna and steam rooms and there is a big gym on the top floor with a great set of machines and a lot of equipment, they also provide a personal trainer if you like to have some help. There are two big pools on the property whereas one is adult only. They have a fully equipped water sports centre and a lot of the equipment is free to use. They provide free boat tours as well as yoga and fitness classes. All rooms are big and well designed, however if you are looking for a special treat then book a junior suite as they have massive outdoor balcony facing the sea with sofas, beds and a swing for lazy days with a book. The restaurants are excellent with some great local and international food choices and the prices are reasonable and the service is great. There is also two tennis courts if you fancy a good game! If you have children with you then there is a full family centre and a kids club. All in all an excellent resort and even more so as an SPG redemption and you can even so points and cash.

My husband I went to Westin for our honeymoon in October. We loved the place - our room had incredible views and was always clean and well kept, the buffet is delicious and varies each day, the staff are polite and helpful and the entire resort is scenic and relaxing. If you don't have half or full board accommodation, the food is a little pricey at the resort's restaurants and you need a taxi to get to any local eateries. I recommend the Westin to all my friends and would go back in a heart beat.

Wonderful hotel, very scenic and the staff are more than helpful. Very beautifully set out and rooms are fantastic. As a restful hotel and Spa it more than ticks all the boxes. Will definitely be coming back. There is more than enough food variety and not one thing tastes less than delicious. A big Thank you to The Westin Hotel and Staff.

This 5 star property has few positives and few negatives The positives: Rooms are big and exotic, The food at the buffet was delicious, The deserts are best selection, Breakfast are good. The beaches are very picturesque but there are lot of sea urchins everywhere so you need to be very cautious. The pool is gorgeous, very clean and nicely designed. The surroundings are very charming. Bar - Lounge, wifi, fitness center are all as per expectations.
The negatives: The service at restaurant is painfully slow. Prices are highly above the expectations. Breakfast needs variety. Staff and reception people must be more courteous. Better options are there nearby. Strongly recommend for family stay. Management should take my suggestions sportingly to make it more value for money.

Visited this place in month of December. The hotel is nice and rooms are big and spacious. The food is average as Seasonal Tastes. If you are craving for Indian food, Kangan is a must try. The private beach of hotel is little rocky. They do provide some complementary water sports activities.

The hotel itself is very nice in terms of design and space. I went there for dinner on an Indian buffet night and I was not impressed. The food was extremely bland, there wasn't much choice and I ended up feeling ill the next day. The service was good however but overall I was not impressed.

We stayed a week. I love the hotel and the facilities. Our room was gorgeous and I loved the restaurants and the bars. The beach was great for sunbathing too. Two major minuses for me: The reef is almost entirely dead. What a pity - too much fishing and watersports to sustain a great coral reef! Secondly, prices are exorbitant.
